Jin's POV
I can't sleep.
It's the middle of the night and everyone is asleep. Everyone but me. Every time I start falling asleep I hear gasps, evil laughter, angry and worried screams, and crying. I start to fall... then I wake up. I hate it. The fact most of the others are snoring doesn't help either.
I stand up and walk around outside for a little bit to try and find something to do.
There's nothing.
I go back inside the cave and decide to take over Jess' job of being the lookout since she fell asleep.
Nothing exciting happens.
I sigh, lean against the wall of the cave, and close my eyes for a moment. Next thing I know, I'm falling over. I open my eyes just in time to see myself fall through the wall. Through the wall! I'm in another dark room that was behind the wall for some reason now. I take a lighter out of my pocket and turn it on so I can see. That's when I notice my hands and arms are a ghostly blue-ish white color and see-through. "What... the..." I whisper silently to myself. This is weird. Very, very weird.
I turn around and look around the room and see something written on the walls. I get a bit closer and I see a picture engraved in the stone wall above the writing. The picture shows 9 people in total. The two farthest left are back to back, one has a ghostly tail instead of legs and the other is holding a water symbol in their hand. Next to them is someone who seems to be on fire. To their right is someone who is in a weird pose that makes it look like they're ice skating. Above the ice skating person is someone who is flying and holding a sword. Next is someone crouched down next to a flower and someone who is holding a lightning bolt in their hand. Last but not least is an angel and a skeleton holding a camera holding hands. "They will be reborn" is written beneath the picture.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't creeped out. I back up slowly until I go back through the wall and my skin goes back to looking normal. I turn my lighter off, put it back in my pocket, and look around. The sun is rising and the others are starting to wake up.
Well... this will be an interesting story to tell.
