“Grannie, I’m off to school.” He said as he stood up and kissed his grandmother on the cheek across the dining table.

“Are you going to use the car?” his grandma asked.

“Nope. I’m gonna use my board.” He said as he picked up his helmet, skateboard and knee pads.

“Bye honey.” His grandma waved goodbye.

He went straight to Gillard University where he takes up the course biology as his pre-med course. He plans to take up medicine and be a doctor. He was running late again.

When he reached the university, he quickly went to his locker to keep his board and get his books. He was praying hard that his professor would be late and that he’ll be able to reach his classroom before his professor calls his name.

It only took him a few minutes to arrive at his classroom. Unfortunately, the professor was already there and was already starting with the attendance. But still, he managed to make it in time for his name.

“Miss Elaine Rodriguez?”

“Present!”

“Mister Mark Rutherford?”

“Present!”

“Mister John Sanchez?”

“Present!”

He was preparing his voice to shout present because his name was next when his professor called out a different name.

“Miss Angelica Takahashi?”

“Present!”

Angelica Takahashi?! He looked around the room and saw her familiar figure. Come on, look this way. He silently told her cause she was facing the other direction.

“Mister Jordan Taylor?” It was his name. Based on her reaction, his name still rings a bell. She suddenly looked around the room. He was waiting for her to look to his direction when he heard his professor say, “Last call for Mister Taylor! Is he not present?”

“Present!” he shouted. He was still not taking his eyes off of her. When he shouted present, she looked at his direction.
