hey guys!! Sorry for the late update... Enrollment  days, thesis works and organization activities nearly tried to kill me!!!! How are ya all doing? Thank you for reading my work.. I really do appreciate that...

For those requesting me to read their stories and critique, I'll be with you after I post this chapter.

For this chapter (and maybe for the remaining ones), I'll be converting the point of view of the story. From a 3rd person POV, I'll make them to 1st person POV for you readers to really feel and understand what's going on inside each character's head. It may make the chapter a little longer but I think it would be much more understandable..

I really am sorry for the wrong grammars and spelling posted for English is not my primary language. So sorry for that..

love xoxo,

Mikhael11

Chapter 5

ALIYAH’S POV

“Stop it!” I said as he continued to pull me towards the park.

He didn’t listen. It was as if I am just his wagon wherein he can pull and drop anytime, anywhere.

“I said stop!!” I shouted. I tried my best to pull out my hand from his firm grip.

“What is your problem, Nick?” I was so busy massaging my wrist that I slipped.

“So now you know me.” He sarcastically said. I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say.

“Did you know how much that hurt when you told me you don’t know me? That here I am, always reminiscing our days together every chance I get for over 10 years. The feeling when finally, I got to see you again and then the words you said to me were ‘I don’t know you’?” he continued. I could see anger building up through his eyes. Those expressive eyes.

“What do you expect? For me to say ‘I miss you’? Do you think I would even want to say those words to the person who left me 10 years ago? You left me, Nick. You left me without saying goodbye.”

I saw a shot of pain across his face and then a blank and dark expression.

“I’m so sorry.” He said as he turned around and walked back.

What happened, Nick?

“Is that all, Nick?!” I shouted to his back

He turned around, confusion in his eyes. “What?” He asked, confused.

“I expected that you would explain why you left. I think you do owe me an explanation.”

He faced me but didn’t bother to move closer. “My parents died two days before that. They were killed in a vehicular accident on their way to their dinner date. I was left alone with my grandparents. The moment our petition to migrate was granted, my grandparents wanted to move out as early as they can cause they can’t accept that my parents are gone.”

I was shocked knowing the reason why they suddenly left. No one ever knew the story behind their sudden leave. The Taylor’s were not very sociable to their neighbours. They were highly respected because they are wealthy. That is also one of the reasons nobody tried to befriend them. People think that since they are very wealthy, they would not like to talk to lower society class. Well, everyone thought of that except... me.
