Disconnected // Hemmo (DISCONT.)

When we got inside I followed Luke to the living room. "Wanna watch a movie I guess?" Luke asked, walking over to the stack of movies he had on a shelf. "Sure! What movie?" I asked. "What about 21 Jump Street?" Luke held up the movie. I had never seen it before but I have been wanting to for ever. "Yes! I've never seen it." I said. "Seriously? It's hilarious." He said putting in the movie. 

Luke came over and sat on the couch, keeping his distance of course. I'm not sure if he didn't like me or if he liked me. He is very confusing because he's nice sometimes but then other times he's a total dick. Right when the movie was  about to start I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and seconds later Calum walked into the room. "Hey guys, what movie are y'all watching?" Calum said plopping down on the chair. "21 Jump Street." Luke said rolling his eyes. I guess he was annoyed because the movie was starting and he had to pause it because Calum interrupted. "Oh, i've seen that too many times, y'all enjoy." He said getting up and heaing  back upstairs. Luke turned on the movie again.

"Oh my god that movie was hilarious!" I said laughing. The movie had just gotten over and I think I can say it is now one of my favorites. "Just wait, there's gonna be a second one!" Luke said smiling. "Is Luke Hemmings smiling?" I said teasing Luke. This is the first time i've seen him smile and it was adorable. "Don't get used to it." He said going right back to his normal expression. Luke got up and turned around and said "I'm hungry, want something?" 

"Hungry? We just ate like 3 hours ago!" I said surprised, how could he still be hungry. We walked into the kitchen and Luke heated up a bag of popcorn. "Here," Luke said handing me a glass. "It's water." 

"Oh thanks I had no clue." I said sarcastically. Luke and I were pretty close and I had never realized how much taller he is than me. I took the water and drank almost all of it, I was pretty thirsty. I set down the glass and looked back at Luke who was now staring at me. "What?" I said smiling. Luke quickly turned away and said "Nothing." his cheecks growing a slight shade of pink.

"Hemmings, were you checking me out while I wasn't looking?" I said stepping a little closer to him. Luke turned back to me but didn't say anything so I took that as a yes. We were now inches apart and my eyes are leveled with Luke's shoulders. I reached up and whispered "It's okay, I sometimes check you out too." Letting my lips barley touch his jawline as I went back to my original spot. I wasn't sure what it was but there was something about Luke that was attractive. He may play a bad boy who hates everyone, including me, but I  could see right through it. I could tell he found me attractive too. After I went back to looking at Luke, he started leaning down. Just as I could almost feel his lips hit mine, Calum came walking into the room. "How was th- Woah! What's going on here guys?" He said smirking. Was Luke really about to kiss me? I'm not gonna lie, I was really dissapointed. Luke was so attractive and something just made me want him. 

"Nothing. Kat was just about to leave, Right?" Luke said looking back at me. Now I was really dissapointed. "Uh, yep. Bye Calum, Bye.. Luke." I wanted to hurry up and get out of there before it turned majorly awkward between Luke and I.

When I got home it was almost 1AM. I didn't think I was over there for that long but I guess I was wrong. I changed into my PJ's and went straight to bed, but I couldn't fall asleep. All I could think about was how we almsot kissed and what it would've been like to kiss Luke. I bet it would've been perfect. I stayed up for probably for a hour thinking about Luke before finally drifting asleep.

I woke up to the sun beaming through my windows. I checked my phone, it was 10:50 AM. It felt so much earlier. I got up and went downstairs to cook breakfast. Of course both my parents weren't home because they were working, as usual. It was nice having them gona but sometimes I got lonely being the only one in the house. I made myself some pancakes and went to the living room to eat and decide what I wanted to do today. I then remembered last night at Lukes and how we almost kissed.. Maybe it was just one of those moments, Luke and I would never kiss! He doesn't even like me. But I kept having the urge to call him, I don't know why I just really wanted to see him.
