I don't know why but I have been sitting in my room for the past thirty minutes not doing anything. I have also been freaking out about this "date" with Luke. Sure we have been out to eat and stuff but this was actually classified as a date and I am quite nervous. There is still an hour until Luke's supposed to be here so that is plenty of time to get ready.

I finally got up from my bed and walked to my closet.

Hmm what to wear.. I thought to myself. He never said how to dress so I decided to go in between casual and formal which was a white shirt, some high wasted shorts and my kimono then some sandals. That way it wouldn't be too much but not too little.

I did my regular make-up then straightened my hair. I ran down stairs to see if Luke may be here but he wasn't. Which was fine because there was still five minutes or so until 6:43. That's an odd number to choose, I know, but Luke was complaining how we always use the numbers "0" or "5", why not all the other numbers so that is how Luke came up with 6:43.

I heard the sound of Luke's car pull up and I ran to look in the mirror one last time.

The heard Luke knock a few times on the door but I decided to wait a minute so it wouldn't seem like I was waiting for him to get here. Typical girl, I know.

I opened up the door to see Luke in a nice black button up shirt, the usual black skinny jeans with a rip on both knees, and black on black vans. I guess this was Luke's way of trying to dress up and he looked adorable.

I didn't realize I was standing there staring at Luke until he cleared his throat. I looked up at him to see him smirking. He definitely noticed me staring.

"Shall we go, m'lady?" Luke said holding out his arm for me to take.

I couldn't help but laugh at how odd he is at times. "We shall." I said, taking his arm and letting him lead the way to his car.

He opened up the passenger side for me and I slid in. He quickly went around to the other side and got in, turning on his car.

"Where are we going again?" I asked as Luke pulled out of my drive way.

"Some new Italian restaurant, I can't remember the name, I just heard it's really fucking good." He said smiling. I've never met anyone who loves food as much as Luke.

"Well I can't wait to try it." I said.

We got there about 10 minutes later and the restaurant looked nice on the outside. It had a bunch of lights and a small waiting area by the entrance.

"Table for two please." Luke said to the hostes, holding up two fingers.

She walked us back to a smaller corner to where we have a little more privacy than if we were seated in the middle area. It was a decent size inside and the food looked yummy.

"So, Heins. Didn't I do an amazing job at picking a place to eat?" Luke said, looking around too.

"Yes, Hemmings. Don't be so cocky." I said. Which earned me a playful kick from Luke under the table. I did the same thing back and I don't know how long we were doing it for before a waiter came.

"Hi, what can I start you guys off to drink?" The boy asked.

"I'l have a sprite, pl- Michael?" I looked up at the boy in front of me. I didn't even recognize his voice which is weird because being best friends with him for years you would think I would recognize his voice.

"That's me!" He laughed.

"Since when did you quit petland!" I asked. Michael had been working at petland for two years now and he hated it. Probably because his dick boss always made him take care of the puppies and they always peed on him.

"Since I saw this new place hiring. I quite the stupid shit petland and came here!" He said with a proud smile on his face.

"Well that's awesome!" I smiled back. "Oh, this is Luke." I said, pointing at Luke who was just sitting there quietly listening to our conversation.

Michael held out his hand and  said "Michael." Luke nodded in response and shook his hand.

"Okay well I better get going back to my job before I already get fired." Michael chuckled and Luke and I laughed.

A little while later Michael came back and took our orders. I got chicken Alfredo and Luke got Spaghetti.

"Spaghetti, really?" I asked Luke.

"I don't question you on what you get, so don't question me." Luke said jokingly.

We continued to talk about everything and anything as we ate. We ordered some desert, which Luke mostly ate because I was too full. Not a moment went by when it was awkward. It really just felt like we were just hanging out, not like we were on a date.

We had just pulled into my drive way.

"Well, that was fun." Luke said, putting the car in park, and looking at me.

"Yes, it was very nice, Hemmings." I said smiling at him.

"Then we just might have to do it again soon." He said, leaning closer to me until there was just a few inches between us.

"Yes, we just might." I said before Luke leaned in all the way and crashed our lips together. My hand instantly moved to his perfectly fixed hair, slightly pulling at it as Luke's tongue entered my mouth. I heard a soft groan escape his lips, a sound that I have come to love.

A few moments later I had to pull away to catch my breath.

"I don't think most people do that on their first date." I said.

Luke just smirked and said "Well, this isn't like other first dates, Heins."

"Goodbye, Lucas. I had a wonderful night." I said as I kissed Luke on the cheek and exited his car.

"Hey don't call me that, Heins!" I heard Luke call out the window as I walked up to my front door.

I noticed my mom was home, which is surprising because normally at this time she is at work unless she has a reason not to be. The only reason could be my dad. I started getting worried as I got closer to the door, not wanting to hear what my mom had to tell me.

I opened the door to find my mom sitting on the couch watching tv.

"He, honey! Where were you at?" She said, turning down the tv.

"I was on a date, with Luke. Hey, why are you home early?" I asked.

"Oh I just came home early because they said I could and I was going to hangout with you but you weren't here!" She said and I felt a huge weight being lifted off of my shoulders and I let out a big breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"Oh," I laughed. "I'm sorry. I wish I would have known you'd be home early. How's dad?" I asked, sitting down next to her on the couch.

"The same as he has been." My mom sighed.

"Well hey, lets watch a good movie! Luke showed me this funny one called 21 Jump street and I think you'll like it." I said.

And then I made popcorn and soda for us to have during the movie. We both ended up falling asleep about 3/4 of the way through the movie.
