High School AU (if your someone who doesn't read the titles of new chapters.)
I realized not a lot a high school AU's start with Beast Boy's POV, so I'm gonna start with poor BB. At least the ones I've read don't. Oh well.

Beast Boy's POV
I woke up to a bright green ceiling. It was like the jungle. As I slowly turned the pillow over my head and moaned for just 5 stinking minutes, I smelled tofu from my room. I immediately jumped up and ran to the kitchen, forgetting I was only wearing my boxers. I'm Garfield. Not the orange cat. I go by Beast Boy. I have blond hair, green eyes, tan skin. People say I'm scrawny *cough* Victor *cough* but I think I'm just lean. Oh well. I'm kinda popular at school, and I'm going out with Tara Markov (A/N Grrr....), the most popular girl in school. I also kind of have a crush on someone. I'm also a ninth grader. I have a pretty great life. Who knew it could get even better.

Raven's POV
I woke up to a purple ceiling. Like my mother's eyes. I immediately dismiss the thought and quickly get out of bed and get dressed in my usual hood and jeans. I make my way downstairs and make myself my calming herbal tea, avoiding my father and his goons. I'm Rachel. I go by Raven. Not the bird. I have black hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. My hair goes down to my waist, and I usually keep my hood up. I'm quite the reader as well. My friend Jinx says I should get out more, but I don't really care. There's no point to it anyway. Where would it get me? Nowhere. I'm a ninth grader. My life is acceptable, by most standards, but who would care if it was worse? Who knew it could get amazing.

Beast Boy's POV
As I run to catch the bus, again, I run into a girl with a hoodie. Raven.

She's one of my fellow Titans. And by Titans, I mean the therapy club the school set up just for us. Each of us had a traumatic experience in our lifetime that most kids never experience. But, to make it cooler, we decided to call ourselves The Teen Titans.

"Oops, sorry, I'm trying to catch the bus." I apologized, helping her up. Her hood had fallen off to a head of black hair. She blew her hair out of her face before situating her hood. Why does she even need the hood anyway? I don't think I've ever really seen her while face uncovered before.

"You have 10 minutes dimwit." Raven replied, looking at me menacingly. I backed away and scratched my neck. She was kinda cute when she was mad.

"Sorry."

"It's fine."

"Uh, I'll, uh, catch you later?" I mumbled, hoping to not get killed. She nodded. I ran.
I wished I could know her better. Maybe if I could get some help at school from her. Because I kinda liked her.

Raven's POV
Since I had run into Garfield on the sidewalk, and checked the time, I realized I needed to hurry myself if I wanted to catch the bus. Huffing and puffing, I made it there just in time to see the bus pull up. I sat on the last seat of the last row and took out my novel and began to read.

The bus pulled up to school about 15 minutes later, and I got off the bus to see Jinx waiting by the entrance. Her real name is Jenny, but she thinks she is a jinxer, so she calls herself Jinx. We head down to first period, which I coincidentally have with Garfield. Would it be weird if I had a crush on him? He's my complete opposite, but I somehow get really nervous and my cheeks get all red when I see him. It's just weird. He has a girlfriend anyway.
Speaking of that girlfriend, she entered the class dramatically and kicked out one of Garfield's friends to sit next to him. He face-palmed as she said she missed him.

"I saw you 2 minutes ago." He said exasperatingly.

"But it felt like forever, Beastie." He was about to retort before the teacher, Ms. Quinn, walked in.

The period ran by quickly, as did second, third, and, Well you get the gist. Anyways, I was in the library after school when I heard a voice call for me.

"Hey Rae!" I glared at him. I really do like his nickname, but that's a sign of weakness, and, according to my dad, weakness cannot be tolerated.

"What?" He seemed preoccupied for a moment, before gathering his senses.

"Well, I wondered if maybe you could tutor me in math. I really need help Rave." He made a puppy dog face as I was taken aback. He wanted help from me?

"Why me?"

"Cause you're smart, of course."

"Oh." I should've known he'd ask me because I'm the school's biggest nerd. Oh well.

"Sure I guess."

"Yay! Can we start now?"

"Um, okay, I guess, but I have to be home by five." I stated truthfully.

"Why five?" He asked curiously. In reality, it was because that was when my father arrived home, but I wasn't about to tell him that.

"My homework still needs to get done."

"Oh. Right." He seemed kind of sad, but I ignored it. There was no sense in getting attached to him. He didn't need to get involved in my life issues.

So, I started to tutor him. He wasn't bad. I wondered why he was failing. He was actually really good. A quarter to five I stopped him and looked him in the face.

"You don't need my tutoring. You're good." He sheepishly smiled and shrugged.

"I'd like you to tutor me." My cheeks went red. Why? I have no clue.

"Well sorry, but you have a girlfriend, and you don't need to study. If you don't need to it's a waste of both of our times." He nodded, seeming dejected.

I was leaving the library when I heard the words. "You're the reason I need tutoring Rae."

I don't know why I felt like ending it there. Part 2 of this will be coming. I think I just liked how we began to introduce everyone. I don't know. Anyway, how'd you guys like part 1 of my first ever high school AU? Awesome right? Let me know!
