My Name Is Love Part 2

"Oh no," she had groaned when she saw our faces, making the rest of the Titans laugh even harder. She ended up stalking off to her room, leaving the rest of the Titans dumbstruck at her sudden anger.

"You should apologize," I advised. "I end up apologizing to her 24/7."

"And I bet you'll have to even more when you two lovebirds start to date."

"Date?"

"Yeah. You both like each other. You've just got to ask her out. It's obvious dude." Cyborg replied, smirking.

"Uh, well, I guess, I mean..."

"How about you go talk to her and apologize for us. Then you can get a little smooch fest going!" Cyborg laughed and Robin joined in. Beast Boy seethed as Star looked confused.

"What is 'the smooch fest' that is happening between friends Beast Boy and Raven?" Her words made them laugh even harder, and Beast Boy ended up stalking off himself.

As he passed by Raven's room to get to his, he heard a sniff coming from her door. He paused and heard her hiccup, which made him sigh a little. So cute.

He came to his senses and realized she was probably crying. Oops. He forgot that she was probably really embarrassed that her emotion had just revealed her love to him, kissed him, and did it without her knowledge.

So he knocked. "Rave?"

"Go away."

"Please let me in. I'm begging you Rae. I'll do whatever you want!"

"That won't happen."

"Pretty please with strawberry tarts on top!"

"One condition." She sniffed again. "Get me two dozen strawberry tarts."

"Done. Can I come in now?"

The door slid open in response. He took that as the notion to come in.

She was sitting on her bed. Her eyes were red. Tissues lay around her.

"I hope you aren't planning to stress eat those tarts." He joked, trying to cut through the tense air.

"Why do you think I asked for them?" She replied solemnly, either putting the joke aside or not understanding it. Then again, Raven understood everything. The tense air stayed. Silence was issued.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly. She felt tears begin to rise up again.

"Please don't ask me that." She blinked the tears away.

"Talk to me."

"I'm sorry, Beast Boy, I just..." She broke off, feeling sad and lonely and most of all, so very, very alone. The tears came back.

"I care about you Rae. I know you're embarrassed. I know you wished you could have told you myself. But I'm happy Love told me." He said, taking her hand. She looked up at him, at their hands, then back up again. She shook her head.

"Because you got a good laugh out of me, that's it, right?" She asked, tears now actually streaming down her face.

"No."

His words surprised her. "Why not?"

"Because of this." He smashed his lips on hers, feeling the warmth of her lips at his. She was beautiful.

She didn't expect it. No, she didn't expect it at all. She didn't kiss back. He pulled away.

"I thought you liked me." She put her head down.

"I do."

"Then why won't you return it."

"I'm a demon," she gave a dry chuckle. "Who cares about me?"

He pulled her into a hug. "If I ever hear those words again, I'm going to hop off the roof." She clutched his shirt, fearful for his safety.

"Please don't."

"Tell me what's wrong."

"I haven't ever been kissed before."

"That's it?" He laughed, sending her eyes from sad to angry. "I've never been kissed either, well, except for the time with your emotion." Her eyes went wide. She seemed jealous of her emoticon. She searched his face before pulling him into a kiss.

"You know what, Rae?"

"What?"

"I think you just made me fall for you."
