I'm Abigail Fisher and I'm a drama queen. Like, totally. Everyone says that I over react to everything but I don't think so. I can't agree to lies. It's not fair!
Okay so maybe I over react, but I'm still fun to be around. Like, totally. My friends Mara and Cara are twins and are amazing people to be around. They say that my eyes are so blue, they swear it's electric! But, what can I say? I'm perfect, right? Well that's my own opinion and I'm sure everyone else thinks that about themselves.Like, totally.
On this morning though, I had been heading off to college. I got accepted to Eagle University last year, and started packing as soon as I got the letter in the mail. I still remember what the letter felt and looked like. It was a white, oak hard paper. It was really weird feeling, yet packed with gold on it, lining the sides.
My mom and dad are waiting for me outside so I needed to hurry, or they would get upset. And I don't want to disappoint them right before I leave them for four years. Despite the breaks, they're basically loners.
"Abigail Fisher! It's time to go, come on!" My father yells from outside to my window.
I grab all the rest of my bags and run as fast as I can downstairs. It's hard with all these bags, but my parents are going to flip.
It's nice and warm outside today, and I was upset to have to be inside all day setting up my dorm room. At least I get to meet new people, but going to miss my old friends. They were my friends since kindergarten, but I'm sure we will keep in touch.
"It's about time, put those bags in the back and then get in the car." My mom demands. Geeze, you'd think they would be a little nice considering I'm leaving for college today, but no! They gotta be freakin rude.
I don't normally swear unless I'm really upset or I'm just stressed.

We're driving very, very slowly today. It's the president told everyone to drive on this highway today!
'Hey everyone, it's your president speaking. I want you to all drive on this specific highway on this particular Sunday. So do it!'
Yup, that sounds about right. I just feel so flustered right now and really just want to be at the college. Eagle University is where I'm going to study science a bit more. But mostly because I'm an athlete and want to make it on a big female basketball team.
But just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I can't be pretty, too. And I'm like totally obsessed over the color pink and blue. They are my favorite colours and I paint my nails them every week. My mom thinks I'm crazy but I'm just being me. Like, totally.
Once we arrive at the college, I manage to find my dorm easily. Not many people were still trying to find them because we had arrived later than most people.
"Oh sweetie, I can't believe you're in college! Just yesterday you were asking me to tie your shoes." My mom sobs. I find it pretty realistic since I actually did ask her that yesterday.
I had tripped and my hands had ice on them, but I wanted my shoes re-tied. So my mom gave out the helping hand!
I laughed at the thought for a minute, not believing that this was all happening. Suddenly, I'm like a grown up. Well I am because I'm nineteen and an adult. Technically.
"Well, I just hope you guys know I'm gonna miss you." I take out a blue chevron lamp and put it aside. I'm pulling my parents in for a hug and get all the mushy stuff out.
Later that day, my room mate finally comes. She is obviously Italian because she is tan as hell and gorgeous. She did remind me of Angelina Jolie, though. Just her personality. Her name was Jenna, and Jenna had dark, chocolate, brown hair. With blonde ends. She said she was born with it but that is obviously died.
"So, what are you studying to be?" I ask her. She sits on her freshly made bed and thinks for a moment.
"Oh ya, I am studying to be an artist. I don't really mean like study, but learn more. And this college offered the best help!" Her curly hair was bouncing all around.
This girl Jenna sounds really cool. And I'm excited to start college tomorrow, but scared at the same time. Oh well, I'll figure it out right?
Like, totally.
