I walk slowly up to Joe and Bailey, they are laying on the ground I'm pretty sure sleeping.
Or maybe they are just daydreaming. Well, whatever it is, I'm going to have to ask them. Weather I want to or not because they are basically orders.
My feet come to a stop once I reach the two, lying there. Eyes closed, probably having a nice dream. Until Joe's face is in disgust in his sleep. Alright, let's put him out of his misery, I guess?
"Joe, wake up. Joe, Bailey." I whisper. But instead of whispering, maybe I should push them a bit.
"Bailey, come on get up. You too Joe!" They shoot straight up and stare at me, angrily. This isn't going off to a good start.
I start pacing around, after handing them the food of course. My breaths are panting heavily, but they seem happier since I gave them the food.
"Stop, girl where did you find this food?" Bailey asks me, pushing me backwards.
"Uh, what do you mean? I sound it like you said." She can't know where I got it, I'm not going to blurt out two lies, am I?
"This is not the food we get. How I know? Because this is fresh produce. Where you find it?" I'm not sure how to answer this, maybe tell her about what Mr. Conen said now?
And I do.
It spills out like a waterfall.
Do they look happy with what I just told them? Joe sure doesn't, he just helped me survive after I lied to them about who I am.
"You think you can just lie to me?" Bailey looks at me sternly, like she hates me almost.
Okay, answer. Just answer because I'm not answering that question of hers.
"Well, you gonna help or not?"
