The job

I woke up feeling better than yesterday, mainly because today was the day I got to be a spy. I step over to my mirror and make my fingers look like guns. Pew pew. I'm such a child.

My closet is now full of dresses and t-shirts, none of which will make me look homeless. So I get an old shirt and pair of shorts, put some mokisins with it and boom, I am homeless.

I know I shouldn't be grateful that I have to be homeless because I have always been in races and given to charities for homeless people. Finding them homes, but today was just a job. So I'm not making fun of them at all.

"Mom, do you think I look homeless enough?" I call from the bathroom, looking into the mirror. She comes in and looks me up and down. "Perfect- well your hair needs to look gross so try making it have a weird look to it." She clasps her hands on the sink handles and washes the hands of hers.

"Okay, thanks." My mom nodded and walked out the room. I'm so tired, but I just want to get there. Or I'll be late.

The police station is pretty big for a county one. There are hundreds of people coming in and out, working and leaving. I guess I never noticed how many criminals needed to be taken care of in this town.

"Abigail, come here!" A tall woman demands. She has a coffee mug with the name Shelby on it. Probably her name.

We head over to where she stands and have a seat in the four chairs provided

"Thank you for accepting our request. This man that you are going to be spying on is in a drug dealing business, we believe. So you are going to need to look like a- why are you already dressed like a homeless person?" I didn't realize they were giving me clothes. "Did Cara already dress you? But you just got here." I shake my head no and tell her how I didn't know so I dressed myself.

"Well whatever, it's fine. Go see the sheriff and he will give you the directions on where to go. Have fun, well just don't let us down." She smiles and sends me off, my parents behind me.

Here I go, almost ready for the job of a homeless person.
