"What happened to you?" The little girl asked while I was about to lay down on my pillow.

"What do you mean?" I just don't understand. This little girl looks about 7 years old. Dark hair and blue eyes, no front teeth and a beautiful smile. "How did you get here?" Now I know what she's saying.

"I got here because my house burned down. And my family was in it so I had no place to go, no money either." She reached in her pocket and pulled out a quarter. "Here, I've been saving this for someone special. It's you." I'm in shock. This girl needs that money, not me.

"And what's your name?"

"Destiny, and my dad in Josh. Don't tell him I gave this to you. Please." Destiny begins to walk away dropping the quarter in my lap. I can't take this, I need to talk to Josh.

Josh and Destiny sleep a few yards away from where I sleep. There is less people near them though.

"Excuse me, Josh?" I tap someone, hoping it's Josh, on the shoulder.

"Uh yes?"

"Well, your daughter Destiny just came over. She wondered what happened to me and how I got here, but also gave me this quarter." As I pull out the quarter I see his face get red as if he were upset.

"Don't tell her I told you, but she said I needed it. But I really don't so here you go. Back in your possession." Josh was surprised to see me hand him the quarter. I was too, well actually not really. I knew I was going to end up giving it back just not yet at least.

Charlotte comes over and pats Josh on his shoulder, "Come with me, Josh. You too Abigail." We follow her into a room where everyone ends up being in. She wants to talk to us about something important, but I don't know what it is yet. I don't think either of us do.

"I've called you all here today because we are going to get that money from those drug dealers!" Everyone screams in sinc of agreement. Except me and Josh and of course; Destiny. Such a good child.

"Here you go!" She shouts, handing out weapons everywhere. Umm no thanks. I'd rather not.

"Destiny, stay behind me and do NOT take any weapons. You here me?" Destiny nods to Josh.

He's raising her to be a good child. But I wonder how they both ended up here, maybe they lost their families and no one could help.

"Let's go everyone, through the doors." Charlotte leads everyone out, including me. I'm in way over my head here.
