"Just follow me, okay?" Bailey sighs but finally nods in agreement. We are going to a place that I used to go to when I drove through this city as a child.
It's a chocolate factory.
Odd? Ya, I guess you could say that. But it doesn't work anymore so we can hide out there and no one will find us. And if we stay there, surely the drug people will come there.
There was always weird signs around here when I was young so I don't see why they won't be here now.
"Shh, I hear something!" Bailey says, pulling my arm. Obviously she's taking the noise into a warning.
But it's fine. Just what I needed to happen, noise. Distraction.
"It's okay, Bailey. That means that they won't hear us as we run up the factory stairs. Besides, they are across the street." I say assuring that it's okay.
She nods relieved.
"So, we gonna tip toe or we gonna run?" Bailey says, questioning my skills! Okay, not really skills. But something like that.
"Shut up! I'm trying to see where exactly they are so they won't see us!" I yell. Uh oh. Maybe too loud?
I duck just in case, behind a counter, and hope no one heard or can see us. Safety precaution.
"See that's what you made me do, yell." I shake my head. What an idiot. Such a blond, well she's far from blond hair actually.
"Sorry, I just wanted to know. Didn't need to yell at me." I feel like Bailey is being different around me. Ya know? Like not threatening to kill me now that I'm in charge and benefiting her needs.
I guess that can be good, for me at least.
