Chapter 32-Why?

"Mommy...i miss daddy, can we go back to our house?" I knelled down to cupped my son's face. I miss him too so much, but i know the right thing to do is to leave.

Isang buwan na ang nakakalipas simula nong umalis ako, hindi agad kami naka balik ng texas dahil medyo natagalan ang paper works ng kambal. 

"Yes mom, me too i miss dad." Sabi naman ni Artemis saka yumakap sakin, call me selfish but i want them all by my self, dalawang taon ko rin hindi nakasama ang kambal.

"Soon babies, we'll visit dad." Ang totoo hindi naman talaga kami mag tatagal dito, i just need to settle things here again.  

"Now, finish your food okay!" sabi ko sakanila before i leave them with Fiona, sinabi ko sakanya ang lahat tungkol sa nakaraan ko at kong sino talaga ako. I'm not Lorraine who's dream is to became a Branch manager but Uesher who's famous in Event Organizing.

When i leave Cyrel years ago to run away from the pain i tried my best to built a new life here in Dallas Texas, hindi naman ako nabigo because i became one of the most in demand Event Organizer here. But when shit happened i need to close my business because of Cyrel, i need to set aside everything for him. 

I'm in the living room busy doing some paper works for the opening of Event to Remember when the buzzer rang.

Agad akong napa tingin kay Fiona na nakatingin rin pala sakin, we're not expecting any visitors isa pa, ako lang si Fiona and my parents know about my comeback in Dallas.

"Ako na" sabi niya sabay tayo, i just nod and resume doing my paper works. 

"Uhm..b..besh may bisita ka." sabi niya habang bakas sa mukha ang pag aalala, what's wrong with her? and who's that person behind the door.

"Sino?" 

"Uhm...si ano..si..Lian." Napa hawak ako sa mga papeles ng mahigpit dahil sa sinabi ni Fiona, what is she doing here? how did she know i'm here?

"Papapasokin koba?" i let out a heavy sigh bago ako tumango,  hindi ko alam kong bakit bigla akong nainis. May mukha pa pala siyang i haharap sakin after niya akong lokohin. 

"Sure.. wait for my signal." Niligpit ko lahat ng gamit ko saka nag lakad papunta sa kusina para kausapin ang kambal. 

"Babies? done eating?" They just nodded saka nag hugas na ng kamay. 

"Done!" They both said in unison, hindi ko maiwasan hindi matawa sakanila they're so cute and adorable. 

"Now, i want you to get inside your room and play there okay!" I knelled down para mapantayan ko sila. 

"Yes Mom!" Then they both kissed my cheeks before going back to their room. Agad rin naman akong bumalik sa living room para harapin si Lian. 

"Let her in" sabi ko sabay upo sa couch, i still don't know why she's hear but whatever it is i don't care. Yes, i'm not mad but i'm hurt and seeing her after everything i might breakdown.

"Are you sure?" tanong ni Fiona habang bakas sa mukha nito ang pag aalala.

"Yes.." But to be honest, i'm really not sure. i'm afraid to see her at baka mag laho lang lahat ng pinagsamahan namin noon.

After few seconds pumasok na si Fiona kasama si Lian, pigil ang mga luha habang papalapit siya sakin na naka maternity dress.
