The greatest bliss is home to every heart,

Diamond-clear, a glimpse of the Divine,

Of something far above.

The finest art may take us there.

But cannot take the place

Of visceral joys, like yours and mine,

My Love.

Throughout the universe hearts ask,

Whatever shape or form,

"Why give me life?

What holy task?"

There is but one reply, My Love,

To which all hearts conform.

A myriad lamps, a single Light.

"Love's who I am!" cry seer and babe alike.

Heaven has no need of torches.

It's brilliant anyway.

This world, right here, right now,

Where darkness tortures,

"Love, shine here!" seraphim and cherubs say.

You have a heart. You have a mind.

You have the key.

That opens every door.

There's nothing left to find,

Nothing more to search

Your pockets for.
