~Lola~

It had to be true. Ben was a werewolf and the rest of those people were and they said that Justin was. It sure would explain a lot of the things that have been going on lately, unless it was a dream.

No, I’m almost certain that it wasn’t a dream. It was so vivid.

I felt bad for backing away from Justin but it was my first instinct. What would you do if there were a werewolf right in front of you?

He looked hurt and it made me feel awful. I calmed down a bit and relaxed, I still kept my distance from him though.

‘Why would you think that? Werewolves are just a myth.’ Justin said blankly.

‘Ben told me everything.’ I said while shaking my head as I moved my gaze to the floor. I saw Justin tense up and he clenched his fists. I slowly started to back away from him even more until his grabbed my hand, causing me to stop. I felt the sparks shoot through my entire body.

‘I won’t hurt you.’ He said calmly as he took in a deep breath. I looked up to see that Alex, Hannah as well as about five other people from the ‘pack’ had formed a small crowd outside the door. I shifted my weight, starting to get uncomfortable with everyone listening to our conversation.

Like always, Justin noticed. He snapped his head towards the door where everyone stood. ‘Out.’ He growled in a deep, powerful voice. It sounded sexy as hell.

Control yourself Lola.

The others walked away, as asked. Justin turned back towards me. He didn’t say anything; he just looked into my eyes, deep in thought.

‘So is it true?’ I asked, I was becoming impatient.

‘Is what true?’ He asked as if he didn’t already know.

I sighed. ‘Are you a w-werewolf?’

He just stared back at me. His eyes turned black before flashing to a red and then back to brown. I froze. He closed his eyes, trying to remain calm before slowly nodding his head.

So it’s true. He’s a werewolf.

This has got to be a dream.

‘Are you scared?’ He asked. I shook my head. In all honesty, I wasn’t scared. I don’t know why. It might just be because I know that he wouldn’t hurt me.

‘N-no. I’m not.’ I said truthfully. I saw him relax a little bit and a smile began to tug at the corners of his lips before his expression turned to serious again.

‘Lola, you might be my mate but if you tell anyone at all then there will be consequences. Serious ones.’ He said in a monotone voice.

‘I have no one to tell anyway.’ I sighed as I looked down sadly.

It’s true. I have no one. My parents don’t want me; my friends from school gave up on me.

Oh shit! School. I have to go back in a few days!

‘Do you still want to live with us?’ Justin asked. I nodded my head and he looked relieved.

‘I have to go back to school in two days though.’ I said. Justin’s expression still remained calm.

‘No problem, I have to go back too. I’d happily transfer to the same school as you.’ He said. Is he crazy? It’s senior year!

‘Uh. Yeah that sounds good.’ I said as I nodded my head. At least I’ll have somebody to talk to who isn’t two faced or really just hates my guts.
