What do I have to loose? Chances are he is probably a nice guy and I notice he was from Ireland. Aren't all Irish nice people? Well, I hope. Pulling my phone off of my bed, I held the note card and dialed the number. 'Please answer. I really need my luggage back.' I thought to myself.

"Hello? This is Niall." The accent was so attractive that I had to stop myself from drooling.

"Uh, yeah. I have your suitcase, I must have grabbed the wrong one on accident."

"Gabby, right? Yeah, I noticed that once I got to my flat. I figured it wasn't mine after I saw the short shorts and tank tops spill out of the bag."

The guy seemed understanding. "Oh good! Do you want to meet somewhere and switch? There's a little cafe around the corner from where I live, so we could exchange them there if you want."

"Sounds good. How about twenty minutes, alright?" We agreed and I gave him directions to the cafe.

Grabbing my shoulder bag and his suitcase, I told Lia that I was going for a walk and trudged down the steps. The cafe was a small place, with only about four tables and one older lady working behind the counter.

"Hello dear. May I get you something cool to drink? With this heat, you'll need it."

"Can I just have a water with lemon, please?" I handed her the two pounds and went to sit at the table near the window. Just as I sat down and started sipping on my drink, I saw the door swing open and a blond walked through with a suitcase. He looked so familiar, and when he saw me, I got a good look at his face and realized why he was so familiar. He was the guy at the airport that had the five older men and the one other teenager with him.

"Are you Gabby?" He asked, and I thought his Irish accent was even more attractive in person.

   "Erm..yeah. Niall, right?"

   He nodded.

"Here," I said handing him his bag and taking mine. "I have to go, but thank you so much for meeting me. My only possessions are in this bag."

"Oh no problem." Niall laughed. "Hey, do you want to meet me for a coffee tomorrow morning? Get to know each other?

Shocked, I looked back up at him. "That'd be great. How about tomorrow around eight o'clock then?"

He smiled, and I told him I would see him later and walked out with my bag and went back to my new home. After the five minute walk, I carried my suitcase up the stairs and started to unpack. Finally, I could make this place feel more like home.

The next morning, I woke up at seven and decided to straighten my hair that was cleaned from last nights shower. I applied light makeup; a bit of foundation, light brown eyeliner to make my green eyes pop, and a dab of clear lip gloss. This was only meeting an acquaintance, so there was no need to try to look nice. I decided that dark denim skinny jeans and a purple and gray striped tank top would be the best bet for the weather today. My eyes were still dry from the flight yesterday, so I wanted to keep wearing my glasses so they wouldn't dry out anymore than they already are. Figuring that I look the best that I can without actually trying, I started walking downstairs and yelled back up to Lia's room.

"Lia, I'm leaving for coffee. See you in a bit!" After no reply, it finally dawned on me: Lia was at her boyfriends house for the night, and probably won't be back until much later. I started out the door, cheeks still flush from embarrassment that I just yelled throughout the flat to myself. I turned the corner and saw Niall through the window. 'Wow, this guy is prompt.'

He must of saw me coming, because as I walked in through the door, he stood up and said hello.

"What would you like?" He smiled.

"Oh, don't worry about it. Can I just have a black coffee with two sugars, please?" I asked the lady that was working yesterday behind the counter.

Before I could even pull out my wallet, Niall payed for it and put the change in the tip jar next to the register. "What a gentleman you are. Thank you!"

We walked together to the table by the window and took our seats. He looked up. "So, I noticed your accent. Where in America are you from?"

"Oh, I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's about and hour and a half drive north from Chicago. And I'm going to guess by your name card that you're from Mullinger, Ireland?" I smiled back at him.

"Ahh, yeah. I'm sure the accent was a dead giveaway too, right?" Niall winked at me.

I was giggling. "Of course. That too."

"So what are you doing all the way here in England then?"

"Well, I'm studying abroad here for nursing. What about you? Why aren't you back home in Ireland.

Niall looked up at me from his coffee in his hands. "Oh, well. I'm here with some friends doing business."

As soon as he ended his sentence, three girls ran up to our table with wide smiles. They all looked to be about thirteen, and were laughing uncontrollably.

"Niall, may we get a picture with you?" The dirty blond haired girl said with excitement in her look.

Niall got up from the table and looked back at me apologetically. Ignoring the shocked feeling in my head, I waved him on and he stood between the girl with black hair, and another with strawberry blond hair. The girl that asked for the picture gave me her camera, and I snapped the picture. They thanked him and skipped away.

"What was that all about?" I asked, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Well, that business that I told you about? I'm in a band." He looked like he was hiding something. "One Direction. That's our name."

I looked at him, wracking my brain to try and understand if I knew that band or not. Then I remembered, my little sister had a poster of them on my wall. I didn't know what to say or do. I just sat there silent for what seemed like forever.
