Isabella's POV

'If we could only have this life for one day, if we could only turn back time'

L*Hi babe really sorry but they aren't letting me see you this mornin*

 L*management said its not allowed :(*

 L*I'm so sorry babe I tried sneakin out early this mornin but I got caught*

 I*you in trouble?*

 L*a little bit but no worries I'll see you after ok*

 I*you better be waiting for me*

 L*haha I will goodluck sweetheart*

 L*oh yeah right thanks*

 I*i have to get prepped for surgery now*

"Okay Isabella, show time" they wheeled me off to get prepped for surgery. And I slowly started getting really nervous. My mom was at my side holding my hand the whole time and I was glad for the company. But I really wished Liam could have been there too. I wanted to say those words to his face and not via text. As far as I'm concerned that doesn't even count as saying it cause you didn't, you typed it. It's just something about actually saying those words to a person face to face that means so much more. That's why I hadn't said it in the past few days; cause I wanted the moment to be perfect. Yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic what can I do.

Liam's POV

I didn't lie to Isabella, I just wasn't completely honest. Management was giving me a hard time, demanding to know the details of the procedure I was going for. I'd just told them that I wasn't a doctor and didn't quite understand it. They were referred to Dr Sulli who I was hoping would cover for me.

I had to get prepped for surgery myself and that's why the doctors weren't allowing me to see Isabella. Zayn had come with me for moral support and I appreciated it. My mom and dad were flying in, but their flight had been a bit delayed so they'd probably arrive after the operation.

 "You nervous bro?" Zayn asked as they checked my vitals.

 "No, but you are"

 "Yeah I am"

 "Don't worry Zayn, I'm not the one who's sick"

 "I know bro, buh like anehthin could happen"

 "I probably won't die" I laughed.

 Zayn is a bit of a mum sometimes, he gets so protective over all of us.

 "You ready son?" Dr Sulli asked walking in.

 "Yeah sure"

 "If you're having second thoughts, now is the time to speak up"

 "Let's do this"

 "Goodluck bro" Zayn gave me a really tight hug that almost injured my lungs.

 "Thanks Zayn, I love you man"

 "I love too Leeyum"

 And then it was off to surgery.
