She was singing one of our old time favourites and she sounded more beautiful than ever. And as she went along the words slowly came back to me. Nsync was our favourite boy band and we'd made sure we got all their CD's. I was personally a huge fan of Justin Timberlake and I'd aspired to be like him.
"C'mon Li, the chorus" she urged.

"Wow you're amazin" I smiled. I was really knackered but just bein with Iz somehow made me feel better, I don't know.
"I should be tellin you that" she laughed and the sound echoed in the car. We were takin turns to drive and this last stretch was my turn. She told me t sleep while she was driving, but I couldn't. We'd ended op talking about a lota stuff from tour to what life was like in America and even what my high school days had been like.
"I wish I didn't havta leave" she said looking out the window as we entered the town.
"That's what you said then, but in a different accent" I teased.
"Li, you know what I mean"
"Yeah" I nodded.
"Your fans could've killed me ya know" she tried to lighten the mood.
"Nah they're just really passionate. You'll learn to love them in time"
"In time...?"
"Yeah cause they're goin to be seein a lot more of you in the future"
I think she liked the sound of that cause she smiled as she turned her face to look out the window again.
