My eyes widened, as I could help but leave my mouth open wide. I couldn't believe what was in front of me..No, not what. Who was in front of me. I couldn't help but let my mind run haywire in the few seconds of silence that ran between us, And I couldn't help but remember a small yet very important moment of my life. One that could potentially change this moment, and create a road that was potentially very life changing.
'Genji, I have made a small activity for us to do. Think of someone very important to your life, and maybe even your favored person. Think of their name, and make a small name poem out of every letter of their name, using positive things. The first letter being their name, and then the rest of course the nice things.'
The poem I made that moment had suddenly sprouted into my mind.
Zenyatta,
Exciting
Nourishing
Youthful
Adorable
Tranquil
Trophy-worthy
Astonishing
I couldn't help but apply every last word to him, in a way that made my heart flutter in joy. He was all of those things, and so many more. Yet there wasn't a word in the dictionary to describe this feeling.. This feeling inside of me that's been haunting me! How could I have come up with all of those words in a mere second, to describe him?!..
A second.. No one ever takes the time to truly embrace how much a second can hold, and how long it truly is. More importantly the long lasting effects that second may create.
The pieces slowly formed together.
In a second, I saw him
In a second, I remembered his name.
In a second, I just wanted to hug him so tight and trap him in my embrace.
In a single second, That feeling hit me again. What is that feeling though?! I don't know, It angers me that I cant identify it.
Then, In a second, That feeling hit me. The feeling that I now knew all this time when I saw his face. It was like I needed to be separated from him, in order to truly realize this feeling ive had.
Though it only took one second to realize it.
In a single second, I saw Zenyatta. The love of my life.
