Don't Hurt Me

Chapter 2

2 Years Later

Jenny and Jacob are in 7th grade, planning their future (college,jobs,etc.)

Jenny POV

I can't tell him. Not right now. Would it ruin his day? Hurt his heart? Destroy him?! Ugh, I have to tell him sooner or later. Maybe I can just ask him to go somewhere after school. *

I cross my fingers and pray he won't be mad. 

I'll just...pass him a note. 

"Jacob" I whisper.

"Yes?"

"Take this."

"What is it?"

"Just read it. Please don't be mad..."

I watched him read it as his face was covered in tears.

"You...you're moving?" Jacob said looking down hiding his face

"yes.please.don't cry."

"But why?"

"He's is jail"

"Your dad?"

"Yea..."

"Oh. Ok"

"Jacob. promise me 1 thing"

"What?"

"We'll never forget eachother. No matter what, we'll be bestfriends forever" I say as I hold my pinky out

Jacob looked me in my eyes smiling super big as we linked pinkys.

"I can NEVER forget you"

Me and Jacob jump up as the bell rings.

"Hurry Up Jennyyy"

"You're too tall, Bend down!!"

Jacob did as he was told and I jumped on his back. We started walking to his house forgetting all about the move until he saw something.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

Jacob sits down and started crying. 

"Moving trucks..."

I jump down from his back

"Jacob...I love you."

Jacob looked at me surprised af.

"Really?"

"Yea...Why?"

"Cause I love you too..."

I looked up into his big brown eyes as both of us leaned....We kissed. 

My heart was racing as I pulled away and smiled.

"Jacob" 

"Yea?"

"What's our promise?"

"Never forget eachother. Stay bestfriends forever"

I hugged Jacob tight.

"JENNYY" called my Aunt Lanise (LUH-neice)

"I gotta go..."

Jacob smiled."I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too"

"Bye"

"Don't say bye. That mean you won't ever see me again."

"What do I say then?"

"See ya later"

"Alright. See ya later"

I hug him one last time and run home waving to Jacob the whole time.
