I was walking, rather fast. Today is going to be a good day. I slowed down, saw a worm on the ground and smiled. I never realized how big life could be to something so small. That worm has its stories, just like us. Its on it's way somewhere right now. I love thinking about things. And then, like that, the worm was swept away by a bird. If you watch nature, you learn that someone always pays for the life of another. Also, the same could happen to a man, or a woman, or a child. I went home.
I took a hot shower and got ready for work.
Today, a woman walked in to the seven eleven I work at. She was a middle-aged, tall, professional looking woman. She wore a tight, business casual dress that showed just under her knees. Once she was finished picking out what she wanted, she came over to the cash register I was working. She brought over a pack of mint gum and a water bottle. I gave her a smile and said, "That will be $8.95, mam." She murmured something about robbery, but took out the money from her purse anyway. "Thank you, have a wonderful day." I said cheerfully to her. She didn't smile. She didn't look at me. She walked out of the store and started her sedan.
Its 11:30, and my shift is over. I got on my motorbike and was on my way home when I witnessed a man stealing a woman's purse. I quickly chased the guy down on my bike, but soon got off because he fumbled down an alley way. Just as I was about to catch up to him, I was tackled by a large man in a red plaid shirt tucked into his jeans. He shouted, "I got one of 'em! I got 'em!"
I guess I should have taken my all black uniform into consideration before running after a criminal. He got away. The woman he stole it from gave me an obviously disgusted look.
Thats it. I'm done. All day, all I have done for people is be pleasent, and well mannered. But apparently, nobody cares about thay anymore. My mother taught me-
My mother. She's the best. Always there for you if you are in need, and a really great cook. She isn't alive anymore. She passed when I was thirteen. Well, not passed, I guess. More like, taken. It was the last day of school, and she was going to take me to the shore for the first official summer activity. I ran home, and I opened the door. Blood. I saw blood. I saw a hand laying on the floor around the corner of a doorway. I knew it was attached to my mother's body. Confusion, anxiety, vengeance is what I felt. But not fear. There I lay, all night with a straight face, wrapped in her cold, dead arms. I didn't sleep.

Dead Silent
AdventureThis is my first shot at Wattpad. This is a story about an almost destroyed world in the future, and a resistance group grows and grows until they have the power to fix it. Although it is action packed, there is a love twist.
