All was silent. You could hear a pin if it dropped onto the floor. I woke up on my side, not knowing what part of the day it was. The class room was all fixed up, and there were students. These kids can't be older then second grade. The sun was shining through the windows and a woman was speaking in front, near the board. I rubbed my eyes, nothing changed. I stood up and walked near a student. She was drawing a picture of a family next to a house and a big yellow flower. She labeled the people Mommy, Daddy, Connor, and Gone. Gone? I looked at the teacher and she pretended to not notice me. I slowly made my way to the front. I was right in the teacher's face trying to get her attention. She was still looking at the class, right through me. I started speaking, "Hello, my name is-"

She kept on talking, "Mexicans were the first...in Spain, churches are...and thats how bananas were invented, class."

"Hello? Can you hear me?" What the hell is going on? I started frantically rummaging through papers on her desk to see what the date was. As soon as I got to her desk, I couldn't see clearly. Where is Esther? "Where is she?" I screamed.

The teacher looked at me in shock, "Oh there it is!"

She came over to me and reach for my stomach. I used my arm to stop her from touching me but I went right through her. Her hand also went right through my body. When it came back out, she was holding a picture of one of those grass cutting guys. What? "Where is Esther? Tell me where they took her! What is going on?"

Switching to Russian soldier

"So I'm like, 'Just go make me a sandwich' and he was like-" I started.

There were two of us patrolling the halls when we heard, "Tell me where she is!"

"What was that?" My partner asked.

"What was what?"

"I need to find her! Why won't you listen to me?"

We rushed into a spanish class room.

Switching to James

I was still yelling at the class, but they didn't listen. I heard deep voice from an unknown location, "This is the one. Yeah, he elbowed me in the face and forgot to kill me. Ha!"

Who said that? I opened my eyes and I was being carried by two soldiers down a long hall. I started squirming and they realized I was awake. They gave me a shot and I fell back asleep.

I woke up in a small, metal, room. It was rusted, so I could tell it was old and dirty. There was one door, and no windows. I was sitting in a chair. There were no restraints. I walked toward the door, but before I opened it, I read a note on the wall next to it. It read:

You have been captured and drugged. We will allow you to leave this room, but you will be used as target practice, by our newer group of soldiers. Best of luck.

I'll take my chances. I opened the door, but I could 't see a thing because my eyes were adjusting to the glare of the sun. I stayed in the doorway with my head looking out until I was used to the brightness. We were on a boat. A cargo ship. There were containers everywhere, and soldiers too. None of then had weapons, and weren't wearing uniforms. So, I decided to walk out there like I belonged. Maybe they won't notice. "American!"

Well, shit. I started running in and out of different containers. I hadn't heard any gunshots yet. We were too far off shore to jump, so I hid. I found a door and went down the stairs to a lower deck. I came up behind a soldier and he turned around so, I clocked him. I had to. He had a pistol in his holster, so I grabbed it. Running all over the lower deck, I got surrounded on all sides except one. It was stairs going back up. I ran up them, and locked the door behind me. I snuck behind a container. When a soldier came by, I tried to stay hidden, but I saw his eyes widen, so I snapped his neck. I dragged his body behind the crate, took his ammo, and moved on.

Switching to Henry

"Esther, Esther!" I whispered, "Are you in there?"

I was tied up on the ground outside the kissing booth sized building. I didn't hear an answer from Esther. So I tried crawling toward the door. An SUV drove up to the small building the men had Esther in. Russian soldiers stepped out. They grabbed shotguns, and charged inside the door. I heard screams. It was quiet, for a moment. A shot went off. Just one, and I heard a splatter, and the sound of a body hitting the floor. One of the men started to scream, another shot ended the scream. Splatter. They mumbled some jibberish and exited to room, and got back in there vehicle. I acted dead on the ground, and they didn't notice me. Oh my goodness, Esther! The truck drove off over the gravel. Rocks and sand flung back and rained all over my face. The sun was hot, so they stuck. It was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life. But I had to see Esther. I began to crawl toward the door and I saw her legs. She was in a chair, tied up. She was bleeding, obviously having been assualted by the men. They beat her. Nothing else, just beat her. I looked at her, she was unconcious. Then I looked at the pink mist on the walls that used to be the heads of the devil spawn of men that did this to her. I spit on one of their dead bodies. I found Esther, but I still needed to free myself so I could help her.
