You looked up at your boyfriend, Luke who towered over you with his height. You’ve always been on the short side and having a boyfriend who’s over 6 feet tall doesn’t really help out. Luke knows how insecure you are about having short legs and torso but he can’t help himself finding absolutely beautiful. He loved bending over or picking you up to kiss you. He loved teasing you when he would take your phone and hold it above his head as you uselessly jump to try to snatch it from his grasp. He loves it when you have to ask him to reach for something on the top shelf. And he loves your height because he feels like he can protect you from anyone and anything that comes your way. Luke stared down at you as though he heard you thoughts as he bent down to kiss your lips, “You’re absolutely perfect.”

Looking down at yours and your boyfriend, Calum’s intertwined hands made you feel bittersweet. You loved the feel of Cal’s hand in yours and how they fit so perfectly together, but you hated the fact that there was such a wide contrast of skin tone. You’ve always been on the pale side and having such a tan boyfriend doesn’t help. You hated going to the beach in a bikini because then you’d have to show your even paler stomach. But Calum saw your pale complexion differently. He saw the beauty and softness it brought to your features, how it made you eyes pop and your hair stand out more. He thought it was absolutely beautiful how your skin shined in the sun light even when you felt as though you were Edward Cullen. And whenever he saw you starting to feel even a ting of insecurity about it, he’d always remind you how beautiful you are.

You found yourself staring at your reflection in the mirror, eyes traveling to your stomach and thighs. Glancing back at your phone, you scrolled through the images of tumblr girls with flat stomachs and thigh gaps. You noticed how your stomach bulged out and your thighs rubbed together. In the corner of your eye you noticed your boyfriend, Michael staring at you with sad eyes. You knew he thought that your body was perfect and that you didn’t need to loose any weight. He loved the curves and edges of it and thought it was perfection. He’d remind you everyday how beautiful you were hoping that one day you’d finally see that he wasn’t telling this because he was your boyfriend but because it was the truth. You saw Mike walking up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist. He gently took your phone from your grasp and tossed it on your shared bed. You felt his hair brush against the side of you head and his lips on your ear. “You’re already perfect.” He whispered.

Walking into your shared flat with your boyfriend, Ashton, of 2 years, you couldn’t help but notice the size difference in shoes between the two of you. Even though Ash already had abnormally large hands and feet you hated how you had abnormally small hands and feet. You always feel insecure whenever you buy a pair of shoes with the store cashier telling you that your daughter would love them when in reality you didn’t have a daughter and the shoes were for yourself. Ashton on the other hand loved your hands and feet. He loved to hold his hand up to yours and curl his fingers down around your own making a shield around them. He loved playing footsies with your tiny feet and tickling them. And whenever he saw you thinking about wanting larger hands and feet he’d always come up behind you, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist and bringing your hands up to his face to kiss them whispering how perfect they are.
