Ashton:
"Don’t you worry baby, I’ll clean today. You get some rest and just call me if you need anything. Okay?" Ashton said as he tucked you into the bed, kissing your forehead. “Thank you,” you croaked out through a grin while Ashton nodded and walked out with a laundry basket. Last night the doctor called with your result and said you have the flu so Ashton has not let you do anything on your own, and since you were tired anyway, too tired to fight back, you just listened to him. You inched your way more under the covers and watched the TV, slowly drowsing off. Just as you felt yourself finally fall asleep, Ashton was there to shake you awake. “(Y/N),” he said, not even trying to whisper. You mumbled an answer back. “What are these and why were they in your jacket?” Your eyes looked over at the pack of cigarettes in his hand and your eyes went wide. “Mu cigarettes?” You said, more like a question. “I didn’t know you smoked. Is there a reason why you started? How long ago?” You sat your body up so it was leaning against the backboard. You looked over at him and sighed, “I’ve been doing it since I was fifteen. Stupid teenager move.” he shook his head and whispered to himself, “I can’t believe I didn’t know.” You two sat in silence for a bit, a few coughs here and there from you until Ashton spoke, “I want you to stop-“
"But Ash-"
"No ‘buts’. You have to for me, for your health. I know it’s hard, but it’s so so so bad for you and I can’t see you go through something as awful as smoking these. Honestly, starting now. Is this your only pack?” You nodded, slightly lowering your head. “I’m throwing it out. I want to help you. Please baby.” You sighed and argued with yourself for a bit before deciding you were too tired and it’ll be best for you. “Okay.” Ashton beamed and kissed your cheek. “Thank you, you have no idea how happy this makes me and how better you will feel.” He smiled and left you to fall asleep once again.Luke:
You boyfriend, Luke, said he would pick you up from school but he’d be late. You don’t mind though, it gave you more time to light some with your friends. “Weed?” You asked your friend as he nodded and handed you a blunt along with a lighter. The familiar scent filled the air and you closed your eyes, smiling. It felt like a sort of home for you. “Isn’t Luke picking you up?” Another friend asked while you reopened your eyes to look at them. “I have time.” You answered. You were wrong, miscalculating it all. Just as you said that, Luke rolled into a parking space in a car. Your eyes went wide and your hand let go of the blunt as you slowly walked out to get in the car. “I can help you, you know. There’s no harm in telling me.” You couldn’t even answer while Luke drove away, the car silenced the rest of the way.Calum:
"Hard day at work?" Calum asked as you sighed through the front door, slamming it closed and dropping your bag. “Yes,” you grunted, taking off your coat and walking into Calum's arms. He went in for a kiss, quickly pulling away after. “You smell like smoke.” He said, pushing you away to look at you. “Like fire smoke?” You asked. Your face was a serious question, trying to act like you don't know what he's talking about. “No, like… like cigarettes.” You cleared your throat and shrugged. “I-“
"Have you been smoking (Y/N)? Be honest, I won’t be mad." You paused before breaking down in his arms, nodding and letting small tears out. "I know I’ve stopped for a while but ever since I started my new job, the stress built and my boss has been on my back; I just couldn’t take it anymore.” Calum nodded and began to slip off your clothes. You sniffled back the confusion and looked at him. “What are you doing?” Calum didn’t look at you but at his hands that worked on your blouse buttons. “Let’s take a shower and talk about ways I can help while we lay in bed?” You nodded roughly and kissed him as he warmly smiled back.Michael:
It was a late night as the power went out, so you and Michael were just lying around and talking. “I wonder what it’s like to get high,” he said while staring at the ceiling and letting his thoughts roam out his mouth. “Do you want to know?” You sat up and looked in his general direction. “No,” he said as he did the same but with much rougher motions, “do you get high enough to know how it is?” As soon as he said those words you know you shouldn’t have said what you did. “No?” You heard him sigh and you could tell you were busted. “Okay, quite possibly.” You admitted. “When? Where? How long? Did I seriously not know about this?” You chuckled a bit at his excessive questions and crawled to where he was, taking his hands and sitting on his lap to face him. “Usually with friends in the backyard honestly. We’ve literally been doing it since high school. I guess I’m just good at hiding it all.” You fiddled with his fingers and your head looked down. “Just… just be careful, okay?” He took you into a tight embrace, holding you close. “Okay.” You answered with a smile.
