Chapter 3

Normani's POV

As I was making my way back home from Dinah's I was thinking to myself how beautiful she was and If I'll ever see her again.  I unlock my door to see another night where I'm alone, I sigh and walk in closing and locking the door behind me. My parents are never home because they are always at meetings or business dinners so I'm always home alone but I don't really mind it anymore I got used to it once I was old enough to stay home by myself that's when they started leaving me home alone. I walk upstairs to take a shower and get ready for bed, once I'm done with that I got in bed and looked through my phone for a little bit. I was on Instagram when someone messaged me, I looked to see someone who's account is dinahjane97  who messaged me.

Instagram conversation:

dinahjane97: Hey normani its dinah I don't want to seem like a stalker since I met you today and I just now found your Instagram lol but really thanks for the ride today and staying to see if shes okay I appreciate it.

normanikordei: oh hey dinah lol I told you beore that it was no problem I saw her take that fall and it didnt look to fun lol

dinahjane97: lol okay I guess I'll talk to you later. Night normani ;)

normanikordei: Night dinah jane ttyl ;)

I locked my phone and put it on the charger, I closed my eyes as I was thinking about the blonde.

The next morning I woke up to my alarm blaring.

" why the fuck are you so loud" I groan as I turn it off. I slowly get out of my warm comfy bed and make my way to the shower. When I was done getting ready I made my way outside to meet my friend Camila.

"Hey Mani." she said excitedly. She is to perky this early in the morning.

"Hi mila. Why are you so perky its to early for all that." I tell her as I put my head up against the window.

"Because I get to see my Baby today."

" Didn't y'all just hang out this weekend?"

" Yeah but that was Saturday she couldn't come over last night, she told me she was helping her friend with her siblings." Camila rolled her eyes at that. I tuned her out the rest of the way to school. She pulled into the parking lot and jumped out the car and ran into the school to find her "baby" I rolled my eyes. I got out the car and walked to my locker, I put in my combo and opened it just for my books to fall out. With a sigh I squat down and pick up my books, that is until a hand reaches out to help me. I look up to see the smiling blonde that I met yesterday.

"Omg Dinah you go here?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah I just started going here last  week." she says with a sly smile.

"Oh well let me see your schedule so I can see if we have any classes." she hands me her schedule. I look over it and see that we have all the same classes. I laugh " We have all the same classes." she laughed and handed me my books.

" Well I'll see you in homeroom I have to go meet lauren and her girlfriend."

"Alright see ya." I waved to her as she left. I grabbed the books I need for my first two periods and made my way to homeroom. While I was walking I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned around to find a short Latina.

"Um hi?" I somewhat ask.

"Hello my name is Ally Brooke." she smiles brightly. Awe shes adorable she reminds me of a big ball of sunshine.

"Hey Ally nice to meet you, I'm Normani Hamilton." I smile back.

"What do you have for homeroom." She asks me as we continue to walk.

"um I have English sadly." I roll my eyes, english is so boring I always fall asleep in there.

"Omg me too."

" cool. now since I have friends in there maybe I wont fall asleep anymore." We continue our way to class. When we get there i asked ally if she wanted to sit with me or does she have someone else she wanted to sit with, she ended up sitting with me in the second row of desks.

"So normani I'm going to-" Thats all I heard from ally as I watch Dinah walk in looking like a goddess.

"What about you?" I hear as I finally look back at ally.

"Um yeah sure." I say and receive a weird look from her.

"You weren't even listening mani." she sighs. " I said I'm going to that Shawn Mendes party, are you?" I think for a minute, chances are I'll get drunk and show my ass but then I will be having fun .
"Yeah I'll go but if I can't get drunk."

Guys I'm so sorry about the wait but this is pretty much a filler chapter because I didn't really know where to go with this but I got some ideas for the next chapter which will be about the party! Should dinah and mani hook up at the party?~J❤️
