Chapter 10

Dinah POV

Friday night came faster than we thought but I was nervous and excited. I think I might actually ask normani to be my girlfriend. I have a perfect night planned for us, we'll go play mini golf then play around in the arcade and then after that I'll take her for a walk on the beach. As I was getting ready I heard my phone ding.

manibear🐻💕: Dinah what should I be wearing for our date ;)

dj❤️: nothing....

I laughed at my response and finished getting ready. Once I was done I looked in the mirror approving of my look, I jumped onto my bed and looked at my phone again.

manibear🐻💕: Babyyyy I'm serious

I can hear her whining through the text and I just shook my head with a smile on my face.

dj❤️: I know and so am I princess. But if you insist on wearing something dress casual and text me when your all beautified.

We talk to each other like we have been dating for years. The couple of days normani was absent from school I couldn't help but wonder about her. The one time I went to her house to check on her I went to touch her and she flinched away and then there would be days where she was wearing long sleeved shirts and hoodies but one day I saw that she had bruises, I want to ask her what happened but I didn't want her to shut me out. I shook the thought and started scrolling through instagram. I finally got a test from normani saying she was ready for me to get her. I made my way to her house with Queen B blasting through my speakers. I pulled up to her house.

dj❤️: Your chariot awaits princess

I get out the car when I see her walking out so I can open the door for her. When she reached me she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I shut her door and made my way to the other side of the car.

"So where are we going?" I hear her finally speak up after a few minutes.

"Well I thought we could go play some mini golf maybe play around in the arcade for a little bit then grab some ice cream and then take a walk on the beach." I said as I looked over to see her face before focusing on the road.

"That sounds great." She said as she grabbed my free hand.

Normani POV

When we made it to the place an idea popped into my head. I was gonna act like I didn't know how to play so that dinah will have to "teach" me.

"Here you go princess." she handed me a putter and ball.

"Thank you."

"Okay do you want to go first or do you want me to go?"

"Um I can go but I don't know how to do it." I told her with innocent eyes.

"That's okay baby I can teach you." I smirked as my plan was in motion now.

"Alright so you're gonna position your putter right behind the ball and you're gonna angle it so you can get it to the hole." With this being said she put her hands on mine as she put her front to my back. I wanted to have a little fun so I pushed my ass back and felt her member and when I heard her breath hitch I smirked.

"Um a-alright now you're going to pull back and hit it with a little force." I bent down a little more and hit the ball. I heard her mumble a 'fuck' when I moved away.

It went back and forth like this until we reached the last hole. Clearly I won because I kept teasing her so she was distracted the whole time. Currently we are in the arcade and she wanted to play basketball.

"You may have beat me in mini golf but babygirl you won't beat me in this." she said with so much confidence.

"Yeah lets' see about that then."

We started the game and she was winning. By the end the final score was 24-2.

"Dinah thats no fair I don't know how to shoot the ball." I said with a pout.

"Awe its okay babe I'll show you." she said kissing my pout away.

She started the game and grabbed the ball and went around me. She wrapped her arms around me with the ball in the front.

"Okay so you put your hands here and here." she said as she positioned my hands where they go. "And then you just shoot and follow through." She pushed my hands with hers and the ball went in.

"Ah dinah did you see that I made it." I squealed turning in her arms.

"Yeah good job." She smiled at me. "okay time to go to the second part of our date." She grabbed my hand and walked me to the little ice cream shop across the street.

"Hello what can I get for you two?" The girl behind the counter asked.

"I would like a one scoop chocolate and one scoop vanilla in a cone please." she turned and looked at me.

"Can we just share?" she nodded and went to pay while the other lady started working on our ice cream.

We made our way towards the beach hand in hand while enjoying each others company and ice cream. We walked for a little longer before she came to a sudden stop.

"Normani I've been wanting to ask you on a date for the longest and now that I finally did and I have you in my life now I don't want to lose you. So Normani will you do me the honor of being my lovely girlfriend?" I jumped into her arms and slammed my lips to hers.

"So thats a yes?" she said giggling.

"Yes Dinah." I rolled my eyes while laughing.

She smiled and started spinning me around while kissing all over my face.

"It's norminah bitch."

"what is norminah?" I gave her a confused look. She looked at me like I was dumb.

"It's our ship name duh." I just laughed and shook my head.

"Only you dinah jane."
