Chapter 6

Normanis POV

I had just pulled into my driveway. I got out of my car and made my way up to my front door.

"Where the hell have you been." I hear as I open the door. I mentally slap myself for not sneaking in through my window.

"I was at my friends." I say making my way to the stairs to go to my room. I hear movement from the living room. I try to sprint up the stairs knowing what's to come if I can't get away, but before I know it I'm being pulled back by my wrist.

"What did I tell you about leaving this house without permission." He said through gritted teeth as he throws me on the grown.

"I'm sorry dad I forgot." I cry out. I feel a hard slap to my left cheek and then a kick to my stomach.

"Don't let me catch you making another mistake like that do you hear me?" He said as he grabbed a fist full of my hair. I nod as best as I can. " Good now get the fuck out of my site." 

I quickly get on my feet and run up the stairs. I ran into my room and locked the door. I leaned against the door and cried. How did I have such a perfect night and now I have to deal with this? I heard my phone ding. When I look at it I see I have a message from Dinah.

dinahjane97: hey babes I hope you got home safe I had a really fun time with you last night 🥰

I smiled at her cuteness. I wish I was with her right now.

normanikordei: hey! Yeah I got home safe. I had a good time with you too!!! Wanna hang tomorrow?

I was still silently crying thinking about how I missed being in her arms and having her just care for me. It's crazy cause I only just met her and now I can't stop thinking about her. I hear my phone go off and look down at it.

dinahjane97: Of course I would love too!!

normanikordei: Yay🤗 Meet at the Starbucks on the corner?

dinahjane97: Sure! Does 3pm sound good?

normanikordei: will do:) see you soon babe😘

dinahjane97: 😊😘

And with that I got up and went to my bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for bed. I looked in the mirror and noticed the purple bruise on my left cheek. I just shook my head. Continuing getting ready for bed. Once I was done I got back in bed and closed my eyes. I started thinking about when my dad first started beating me. Once my mom died its like he changed. My mom died in a car accident when I was five, she was running late to get me from after school and this drunk diver ran a red light T-boning my mom. Since that day it's been like my dad hated me. We never have family dinners anymore, he's always drunk off his ass, and whenever I do something that he doesn't like or doesn't approve of I get beat for it. I just wish my life was different. My phone dinged again. It was dinah. I smiled as I read her message.

dinahjane97: Goodnight beautiful❤️ I can't wait for our date tomorrow😘

normanikordei: Omg you are too cute!! I can't wait either! Goodnight dj❤️

With that I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Thank you guys for being so patient with me I really do appreciate it. And sorry this chapter was kind of sad but next chapter will be more exciting with Norminahs date!
