Can I be saved? Roadtrip Story

Prologue

My name is Riley. Riley Elizabeth. I am 13 years old and I live with my mom and dad. I used to have an older brother but he died in a car accident when he was 17 and I was 3. That's when the abuse started. They blame me for the accident. I didn't understand I just knew that my brother was gone and now the comfort from my parents was too. That night after the accident and every night after that I was put in the basement and basically starved. I went to school so they made sure to keep my bruises covered but if they ever went a bit overboard they kept me home. Sometimes for a day and sometimes it was weeks leading up to months. Starting at the younger age it was just a bad spanking or a few slaps to the cheek with the following of many profanities spat at me. I didn't think I was responsible but as the years went by I slowly started to see that it was my fault and I shouldn't have been born. You would think, "Why not tell a teacher?" Or "why not tell a friend?" Well because I sworn to secrecy. I was threatened with my life. I didn't talk much to anybody. The only friend I had growing up was my best friend, Maya Grace Beaumont. Yes she is related to famous group singer Rye Beaumont from the group Roadtrip including, Andy Fowler, Brooklyn Wyatt Gibson, Mikey Cobban and, Jack Duff. She lives with the boys since her parentd died in a plane crash when she was only young. I've met them a few times when they'd come pick her up and they'd take me home. I was always scared they'd find out about my secret. I am now in 7th grade. I suffer from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and self harm. No one knows except my best friend. I told her she couldn't tell anybody and she has kept her promise from the day we became friends. If you have made it this far then follow me along as I tell you my life story.
