I looked away from Armaan when I heard someone say, "Hey man, check this thing out" and chuckle.
I turned to see two guys eyeing my niqab. "Why do you have to wear this? Are you ugly?" One of them spoke...
I was walking down the corridor with Maafroza and Hiba following me when I eavesdropped into their conversation.
"The name's Hiba by the way"
" Qibriyah "
I froze.
Isn't that the name of boss's daughter? Shit. Did I make a mistake?
I've never been careless.
As we reached the kitchen is peeked through my lashes to get a glimpse of the bracelet in Maafroza's hand. I'm pretty sure I gave it to her.
I was confused for a minute. It was a plan by both the sisters. Or maybe I gave the bracelet to the wrong one.
But I had been keen in noticing their abaya designs so what was wrong?
Maybe she was lying to the others?
As soon as I got out of the kitchen, I quickly searched my pocket for her phone that was switched off and turned it on.
I took a look at the contacts, my eyes searching for a particular name, when I found it.
Maafroza.
She isn't lying. She is Qibriyah indeed.

Qibriyah's POV.
I took a glance at my surroundings, oblivious to the eyes on me.
We were all sitting in the living room.
Me, Saad and Hiba were enjoying ice creams in one corner while Basith was helping Maria feed a little girl. I swear she, Maira, is the cutest baby I've ever seen. She had been sleeping a few hours ago.

Aisha, Kareem, Amir and Zaid were playing tag and Hafza was reading a book.
And Armaan, well he was sitting in the middle of the room observing everyone like an old granny.
He has been glaring at me everytime our eyes make contact, accidentally of course.
Who would want to look at his all-time-frown?
Everyone here, except Armaan, have been treating me like a special guest. The reason is because I have been introduced as one.
I felt a tug on my sleeve and saw Aisha pouting at me.
"I wanna go to the bathroom but it's dark there. Can you please walk with me?"
" Of course!" I smiled and took her by her hand.
She lead me to a huge room that had 6 tiny, colourful beds. Probably for the kids because they can't sleep alone.
Although she's a kid I knew she'll have the answer to the question bothering me so I asked her "Why do you all live in his place and where are your parents? I mean you are not his relatives or are you?"
