Meet the Parents

"Forth's POV"

It is Saturday and I have no idea how to spend it. Usually I help my dad in his autoshop to earn some money for mom's birthday. But since her birthday was long gone, I don't have to pretend like helping Dad. (he knows I'm just messing around stuffs)

I was rolling in my bed when I thought of something great. Maybe I can ask Beam to play with me. He's new in the city, so probably, he doesn't have that much friends yet. I was thinking maybe we can go to that vacant lot where other city kids usually play. The idea sounded great.

I took a bath and groomed myself. Just when I was about to leave, I heard Kurt calling me.

"Forth! Where are you going?" He asked.

"Non of your business.." I told him with a blank face.

"Geeze.. It's a lively saturday morning and everybody is so grumpy." Kurt was complaining.

"What do you need?" I wanted to leave him there and see Beam right away.

"I got your wallet back from Fat Champ." He was grinning.

"Woah!! Did you beat him up for good this time?" I was happy to have my money back.

"You bet! hahaha.. He almost peed in his pants. He promised me not to take on younger kids anymore." He was proud of what he did.

I was counting the money just to be sure that nothing was taken.

"Thanks brother! Your the best!!" And with that I went straight to my destination.

While on the way, I was already thinking what to do with the money. I can take Beam to the arcades or the candy shops. I was literally smiling while walking. People must think I was crazy.

When I arrived at their apartment lobby, I approached the reception desk. Sitting there was an old, nice lady. I was describing to her what Beam looked like.

"I came to visit my friend. He's a small pale boy with jet black hair. Probably shorter than me and thinner. He just transfered here about two weeks ago."
