Finally we arrived at the beach. The sun was striking hot and shining at its brightest. I can smell the salty, floating breeze of the coast. It’s enough to make my knees go weak. I look into the cloudless, cerulean blue sky and realize the perfection of my current state. I have loving and caring parents and the best buddies in the world. I’m on my way on achieving my dream of becoming a doctor and now, I have Forth in my life. I could not ask for more.
In the open sea, rolling clear-blue waves crash into each other with such force as that of football players. I squint in the distance of the progressing whitecaps and come upon a floating yacht. Focusing my attention to the beach, I observe middle-aged people resting on beach towels, children creating sandcastles or frolicking in the ocean, and young couples holding hands while walking along the shoreline.

I want to immediately remove my shoes and feel the warm sand under my feet. I can’t think of a way to bring Kit to the sea since it’s his phobia. Maybe I’ll try to persuade him later and drown him in the shallow water. I’ll also make lots of sand traps and lure Phana into them. I closed my eyes to smile and take in all of my surroundings.
“Okay. Huddle up everyone. The available rooms are good for two people, so better get a pair and unpack your things early. We don’t have enough time. The photo shoot will start after lunch.” The facilitator shouted.
Forth went in front and took a room key from the counter. I looked over to Kit and signaled him to be my roommate. I was on my way to Kit when Forth suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me back to his side. He then smiled at me coyly. I felt chills run down my spine. I realized how the pairing for the rooms will be. Forth must be expecting me to join him.
Only the two of us.
Alone.
Tonight.
The mood suddenly became eerie. I noticed a sly smile perking from the side of his mouth and his dark brown eyes checking the curves of my body. Forth was peeking at what’s underneath my clothes and sinfully undressing me with his stare at that moment. I know that kind of face he is making. Even if he tries to play innocent, I can smell the pungent odor of his evil motives. He’s reeking lust and I’m in no good position right now.
I tried to back away but Forth has grabbed all my bags with his muscled arm, lifting everything effortlessly with one hand and wrapped his other hand around my waist. He glared at me excitingly and licked his lower lip. He began smiling while dragging me to the elevator. It was so fast that I could not react and became speechless for a while. Right before we got inside the elevator, Phana appeared and interrupted Forth’s plan. He pulled me next to him. Finally! My savior came. He must have realized the current situation I’m in.
“Forth! I’ll be your room mate. Beam! you go with Kit.” Pha commanded while looking at Forth with disgust.
“Pha! What do you think you’re doing? I will pair up with Beam!” Forth was still tugging my waist.
