“Beam’s POV"

I easily recognized the five guys who took me since they were not wearing any hood or mask. They were still wearing school uniforms when they took me. These people are Forth’s seniors in college and the guy who is currently driving the car is the head leader of the sotus system. I know because I’ve met them before while waiting for Forth during their Friday meeting.

They brought me to an old abandoned house at the city outskirts. The road is seldom passed due to its muddy terrain. I used to drive by this place when I visit our old house in the province. The house always gives me the creep just by passing by it due to its haunted appearance. I never imagine it to be a place for drug storage.

I realized that when I was dragged inside and pushed against the stacked boxes. The strong odor of chemical and smoke from weeds surrounds the entire house. Some of boxes tumbled exposing its contents. I was not shocked when I saw white powdery material packed in sachets which I’m guessing is prohibited drugs and pounds of dried marijuana. Clearly, everyone’s suspicion in school about the drug trade inside the university and the involvement of the sotus was true.

I was tied on a chair at the corner of the room while they took out my phone. They were busy rummaging my contacts while I look for a way to escape. Inside the house seemed very confined and sound proof. They must be operating here for a long time already.

“Head leader, he’s not our target. Why did we take him?”

“Fools! Don’t you recognize him? This guy is Forth’s fuckmate.”

“Ahhh! The reason why that dumbass first year of ours lost the competition.”

“Yeah, if it weren’t for their relationship, fucking Forth could have easily won the title of the moon and we wouldn’t be in this kind of mess.” Their leader exclaimed as he spit on my face.

  I think I have an idea what is happening here. Their real target must be Forth, but they could not find him since he’s been missing the whole afternoon. It was simply my bad luck that they ran onto me.

“We’ve been contacting your boyfriend but he’s not answering our call. Maybe he will show his face to us if you make the call.” One of the subordinates spoke.

They tried calling Forth using my phone but he’s still out of reach. Trust me; I’ve done that several times already. Even I don’t know where he is. I can see the frustration in their faces. The leader was shaking in anger as he tried to call again. I can’t see the point why they have to take vengeance on us. Good thing I was aware and my reflex was quick. My phone came back flying to me after they tried several times but still failed to contact Forth. Farewell to my phone after it crashed to the wall behind me.

Now that the sotus was abolished, there is no way for them to operate inside the campus without getting caught. There is nothing to protect their illegal business trade. From what I understand from their conversation, not only are they losing large sum of money each day, I can hear them talking about a deadline for the last shipment of drugs. It seems like they haven’t generated the sum for the payment yet. That’s what’s causing them all to get furious.
