Its tidy. That's the first thing I think. It's too tidy. Painfully tidy. I can practically see Kate sitting here, stressing over the tidiness. I wonder if this was what messy looked like too her.
Alex was already working at her laptop. It didn't even have a password. This was too easy. He motions for me too come and read chat messages between Kate and some Issac.
Me: Hi, Just got home.
Isaac: Hey, how was school.
Me: Boring. Wish you were here.
Isaac: Wish I was there too.
Issac: Want to come to my place.
Me: I'm there xoxo
" She has a boyfriend?" I ask. Alex frowns.
" Not that I knew of." '
Me: I have a killer hangover. Last night was awesome.
Isaac: Glad you liked it babe. Did your parents find out?
Me: Nah. I told them I was over at someone's house too study.
" Bro, she had a total separate life." I say. Alex laughs,
" Damn, she was a badass outside of school. " He says. I nod, moving away from the computer too her bed. Like everything else, the bed is pristine, and piled with stuffed animals. I start to count. There must be over 20 animals. I relax in them, watching as Alex continues to surf through her computer. I adjust, something hard poking into my back. Wait.....something hard? I sit up, and swivel around, thrusting my hand into the animals. My hand hit something hard and cold. I pull it out.
" Hey Alex, I found something." I whisper, my throat hard.
" What? Wait...woah." He mutters.
" Someone was watching her." I say, staring at the go-pro in my hand. Alex takes it from me, and his brow creases.
" Look, here," he says, pointing to the side of the camera, "you see, the red light? It's still recording."
