T eventually stands up and leaves me in the coffee shop. In my pajamas. I almost laugh at my situation. The camera is still warm in my hands, and Kate's face was frozen, her red lips parted. There was pain in her eyes. I put my head in my hands, and push back down a sob throbbing in my throat.

" Hey are you ok?" I look up too see Alex. Just Alex standing there, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

" Yeah, um..why are you here? Its like 10 or something." I say, blinking at him. I probably look like a mess, spongebob pjs and a messy bun. Definition of attractive, but the way he looks at me.....i dont know, maybe he's just tired.

" My sisters on her period. Shes craving hot chocolate, and you know how that goes." He says, giving me that awkward smile. My heart skips a beat. Am I falling for Alex Fargo? Hell nah.

" Oh..um. I have something to show you. Some dude that took Kate showed up at my house and threatened me too come outside with a gun. We ended up here, he gave me this and left. Oh and apparently his name is T." I blubber out. Alex sits down across from me, his face suddenly serious. I hand him the camera, and his face gets sadder and sadder.

" Wow." He murmurs when I point out the writing. He shakes his head.

" I can't even think about it." He says, his face fretfull. I dont say anything, but i start to worry. What did T do? What does a 'warning' mean?

" Do you want to go somewhere?" Alex pulls me from my thoughts.

" Uh um?" I mumble surprised.

" Come on. We've never talked to each other besides this whole Kate thing. I think it's time to start. " He says, reaching across the table and taking my hand.

A few minutes later we are in Alex's car, eating Chinese takeout.

" Hey do you think Kate's--" I am cut off by Alex's glare.

" What?' i say, a mouth full of hot and sour soup.

" No talking about Kate, just us." He says My heart picks up speed.

" Us?" I say. He looks at me, soy sauce smudged on his bottom lip. He licks it, before looking into my eyes.

" Yeah. Liya isn't it obvious? I like you." He says awkwardly, shoving more rice into his mouth. He swallows and i'm still gaping. I dont know what happens, maybe all the stress and hormones and shiz, but I lean over and kiss him. My first kiss, with Alex Fargo, hottie of the school. Chris is so going to be stoked. Alex doesn't respond at first, maybe he's surprised. Soon he deepens the kiss and I know things are going to be different. Maybe he'll be my boyfriend, who knows? I smile at the thought, and I feel Alex smile back. I pull back, grinning to myself.

" Well that answers my question. I had been wondering if you liked me to. " Alex says, and looks at me in that heart stopping way. Kate fades from my mind, and for a minute i'm a normal teenage girl in a car with a hot boy and takeout. And I'm happy. I'm so happy.
