The day drug on and it was lonely as hell without Jackson. Sure Alicia and James talked to me at lunch., but I was missing how Jackson always had an input for everything. I was missing his jokes. And his laugh.

Three o'clock finally rolled around, and I waited outside for Alx.

"What are you doing?'' My brother asked.

"Waiting for a friend."

"Who your boyfriend?"

"No!" I rolled my eyes. "Just go home and tell Janice or Derek I'll be home later to help with dinner."

"Alright." He shook his head and walked away.

"Hey cutie." Alx came up behind me.

"Hey." I smiled.

Dang he was cute.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah sure. Where are we going?"

"To the park." He smirked.

"Really?" A tall, skinny blonde popped up behind us. "You're taking her and us to the park?"

"No where else to go. You have to remember our people don't know her."

"Right." She nodded.

"Your People..?" I paused.

"Oh!" She held put her hand. "My name is AJ."

"I'm Megan." I shook her hand.

"Where is the brat?" Alx asked.

"He should be on his way." AJ rolled her eyes. "Can never keep up with him."

"Here he comes."

I turned around to see the most stunning guy ever. He had perfect dark brown hair with a few hints of blonde. He was built, a little chubby, deep brown eyes, everything a Hollister make Model would look like. Kinda. One problem.

He had a cheerleader under each arm.

Make that twin cheerleaders.

"Hey." He said to Alx and AJ.

"Who's this?" The guy asked.

"This is Megan." Alx smiled.

"Hey you're the new girl right?" One of the girls under who I'm assuming was Alx's brother's arms.

"Yes."

Both of the girls were stunning. Skinny. Tall. Jet black hair. One had blue eyes. One had hazel with a little silver tent to them.

"What are you? Like..." The one with blue eyes started smacking her purple gum. "Like a goth freak?"

"No." I gritted my teeth.

"No! I know, Carly." The other smiled. "You're emo aren't you? You're the type of girls daddy's warned us about. The ones that are insane who slit their wrists right?"

"Well I heard she was in an adoption center for god knows how many years." Carly laughed.

"True true!"

"You guys are really stupid!" I shook my head.

"Did you hear that Cameron?" Carly laughed. "Stupid!"

"Honey, we're cheerleaders." Cameron snapped.

"Exactly. You can't even spell your own names right!" AJ clapped her hands together.

"Excuse me oversized Barbie?" Cameron flipped her ponytail.

"You heard me!" AJ stomped her foot. "And by the way don't call me Barbie when you're the fake ones here."
