I ran downstairs as fast as I could. I was already starting to get a headache from the noise.

"I thought you were my friend!" It was Jeremiah. He was on the floor, holding his nose.

"Not after what you just told me!" Josh yelled.

"Burn in Hell!" Zach kicked Jeremiah in the side.

"Oh no. He didn't." Jackson whispered behind me.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Yes! I told them!" Jeremiah noticed Jackson behind me.

"What?" I yelled. "What is going on?"

"None of your business." Josh rolled his eyes.

"I think it is!" I yelled.

"Just shut up, little girl." Zack picked up Jeremiah by the collar of his shirt.

"Stop!" I jumped in the middle of Jeremiah and Josh.

"Move, or I'll have to punch you too." Josh drew his fist.

"I don't think so." Jackson jumped in front of me.

"Jackson, go back over there."

"No, Megan." He sounded angry. "I can't let anyone hurt you."

"Oh my gosh!" Zack groaned. "Alx pause it until they get the drama out of the way."

I looked over to my right.

"Alx what the hell are you doing?"

"Filming." Alx was holding his phone in his hand.

"Why?" I yelled.

"Just cause. You're gonna love the title." He laughed. "Guys beat up gay guy over another gay guy."

"What?" I asked. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"What-"

"You think this is funny?" I asked, putting my hand onJackson's shoulder. "This isn't a joke."

"Oh baby," Alx walked over to me and grabbed my waist. "Calm down."

"Don't try to kiss me." I rolled my eyes.

"Bitch." Alx rolled his eyes.

Smack!

"Oh shit." Jackson was shaking his hand. "I punched him again."

"What the-" Zack went for Jackson.

The next thing I knew punches were being thrown back and forth. I couldn't take it.

"Stop!" I screamed as loud as I possibly could.

Everyone stopped to look at me.

"Now what is going on?"

"Well" Jeremiah stood along with Jackson. "You should tell her."

"Okay." Jackson gave a half smile. "A couple of months ago I began talking to Jeremiah to help him with his depression and stuff. He wasn't doing too good in school you know. We began talking and one day Jeremiah told me he had a crush on me. We began dating."

"How long?" I asked politely, seeing the hurt in both of their eyes.

"About a month or two." Jeremiah shrugged. "My parents found out because of my big mouth sister and were very angry."

"My mother didn't like it either. She.." Jackson paused.

"She what?" Jeremiah asked.

"Never mind. It's nothing. She just didn't like it."

"Would you ever get back together?" I asked.

"Probably not. I haven't dated a guy since Jackson." Jeremiah shrugged. "We're still friends though."

"Okay then why were they beating you up?"

"Because I told them about it and they got mad."

"I don't accept gays." Josh rolled his eyes.

"Why is there so many people in my house?" Janice walked in, looking angry. "And why does that one have a busted face?"

"Josh and Zack started hitting him." I blurted.

"Whys that?" Janice asked, not even looking at me.

"Because him and Megan's friend are gay. I don't accept people like that."

"You two are gay?"

Neither of them said a word.

"Alright then. " Janice smiled. "We are very Christian people and unless this is some type of sick joke I'm asking you to leave me house."

"What?" Jeremiah asked, shocked.

"You heard me. Out!"

Jeremiah said goodbye to Jackson and I and left quickly.

"You too." Janice looked at Jackson.

"What?" I asked.

"You heard me, Megan."

"Jan that's not fair!" I yelled.

"Life isn't fair. Grow up."

"He's my best friend! I can't lose him."

"Megan." She said softly. "You know how Derek would feel."

"Jackson." I began to tear up. "Go outside."

"What are we gonna do?" Jackson began bawling as I closed the door.

"I'm not sure. There's always school."

"But that's not enough. You're my best friend."

"I'll sneak out if I have too."

"No. I don't want you in trouble." He took my hand.

"Jackson, go." I said as I saw Janice peeking through the blinds of the window.

"I love you, Megan."

"I love you too Jackson."
