Baby (A Supernatural AU)

Chapter 29

*Tyler*

I'm freaking out slightly because Jackson is coming over for dinner to meet my dad. I really hope nothing about monsters comes up. Oh and Jess and Uncle Dean are going to find out I;m gay. My anxiety is thought the roof. "Tyler are you okay?" Jess asked walking past me. She hasn't been talking much since last night. 

"Just nervous." 

"Why?" I shrugged knowing she didn't believe me. 

"You sure?" 

"Positive." I said my voice sounding strained in my own ears. She gave me one last look before continuing to her room. I just hope everything goes okay.

For dinner we were having pizza and watching a move. I hope Jackie didn't dress fancy. I was assuming as it down family meal or at the very least Uncle Dean's burgers when I made sure with dad if it was okay if Jackson came over for dinner. 

Here - Jackie. 

I placed my phone in my pocket and went out the front door with Uncle Dean asking where I was going. I found Jackie's car just at the end of the drive way. He climbed out when he saw me. 

"Hey beautiful." He said. I chuckled. He was wearing one of his many band tees that had a few holes in it, a red and blue flannel with black skinny jeans and a studded belt. "What not fancy enough?" 

"No, you are dress correctly since it's just pizza and a movie." 

"Really?" 

"Yeah." 

"Well I'm glad I decided to change because I almost came in a dress shirt and tie but my mother said that I shouldn't try to be someone I'm not." 

"That's good advice." 

"It is. Shall we go inside." 

"I guess." Jackie grabbed my hand rubbing my knuckles with his thumb. 

"Don't be nervous." 

"But I am. Jess and my uncle don't know." 

"You told your dad but not them?" 

"Jess kept fainting last night." 

"Oh, is she okay?"

"I think so." I said as I pushed the door to my house open and the conversations stopped. The house was silent and it was awkward. 

"Who's that?" Uncle Dean asked. 

"I'm Jackson." He squeezed my hand. 

"He's my boyfriend." I said avoiding eye contact. 

"Nice to meet you." Uncle Dean said. Then from down the hall I heard Jess, "I knew it!"

Jackie chuckled. I led Jackson to the kitchen where dad was. 

"Dad." I said waiting for him to turn around. When he did Jackie let go of my hand shaking dad's saying, "Nice to meet you, I'm Jackson, Tyler's boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you Jackson." Dad said letting go of the hand shake. 

"Hope you like pizza." 

"I do." 

"Did we ever decide on a movie?" Jess asked walking into the room grabbing a drink. 

"Yes." Uncle Dean called from the living room. 

"What movie?" I asked not being aware of this. 
"Captain America." Dad said. Good an action movie. I was afraid it would be a scary movie. 

"I like that movie." Jackson said as we ventured into the living room sitting on the blankets on the floor next to Jess. Dad placed the pizza box on the coffee table before turning off the lights and starting the movie. This is going better than I hoped.
