"So all those things are real? The stuff out of movies and story books?" Mom asked trying to understand the information that Daddy had just told her.
"Most things. If it makes you feel any better Bigfoot and Godzilla are a hoax." Daddy said earning a slap outside the head
"And you are okay with this?"
"Yes, mom."
"Besides, Jesse is in it now too."
"What do you mean?"
"She uh sees things past, present and probably future. The angels want her dead and the demons want to control her."
"No."
"I'm not going to let that happen Sarah, I promise." Daddy said rubbing his thumb across Mom's knuckles. I'm glad mom knows more about Daddy and it hasn't changed the way she feels about him. It makes me smile. Well it did until my head got that god awful pounding it had when I passed out twice the other day. I laid my head down on my arms face down maybe the darkness will help a little. The white noise I had been hearing grew louder and turned into words.

it sounded quite ominous. I could hear my mother saying something about heads on the table and Daddy repeating my name but I couldn't respond. The words were louder in my brain and continued to get louder into a shriek causing me to cover my ears. I felt the warmth of blood running between my fingers making me cringe.
