Chapter 10

Drew's POV

"Are you ready?" I asked. Chelsea nodded yes, her eyes gleaming with excitement and anticipation. Uncle Mark-no, he's no uncle to me-that fucking ball less bastard, I mean Mark, never mind Ball Less Bastard works, had left ten minutes ago and it's our time to make a run for it. I placed my hands onto Chelsea's bare waist and sparks shot through my finger tips and ignited my whole body. Well, that's not normal. I lifted her onto my shoulders. Our shirts are too ruined to use anymore.

I have no idea how Chelsea lived here for five fucking years. I've only been down here for not even a day and I'm about ready to pull my hair out.

Chelsea banged and punched the door on the ceiling but it wouldn't budge. Damnit. "I can't get it!" She said frustratedly.

This girl has some muscles but probably not enough strength considering she hasn't eaten in a couple of days. "Do you have more power in your legs?" I questioned hopefully.

"I might. I'm not quite sure though," Chelsea said.

I lifted her off my shoulders and flipped her around. "Hang on tight to my shoulders," I told her while one of my hands gripped her back and the other her stomach. "Now kick your legs as hard as you can." She did as I said and I heard a crack.

"Something's working!" She exclaimed happily.

I chuckled at her adorable excitement. "Keep going," I encouraged. Seven more powerful kicks later and it opened. The door didn't fly open, but we were able to push it open now.

I flipped Chelsea back around and lifted her up as she pushed the door open. I helped push her up. One awkward moment, my hand pushed her butt-a very nice one I might add-but I quickly moved it. "I see the rope ladder, hang on," Chelsea spoke.

I didn't like the idea of Chelsea leaving my sight, considering Ball Less Bastard could come home any minute, but she only walked a few feet away before quickly running back. She attached the ladder to the floor and dropped the other end down. I quickly scurried up it. "We should make it look like we didn't get out," I gestured to the ladder and door."

"Good idea," Chelsea agreed even though I could see how anxious she was to get out. She unhooked the ladder and put it back while I shut the door and tried to make it looked locked the best I could. I feel bad for leaving Aunt Jane's body down there, but we don't have a choice right now and someone will get it later.

I ran into my room real quick and grabbed two black t-shirts from my drawer. I slipped it over my head while Chelsea did hers. "Ready?" I asked her.

Chelsea's POV

Ready to step foot out of this house after five years? Ready to see the sunshine for the first time in five years? Ready to go outside for the first time in five years? Ready to see your family for the first time in five years? Ready to get bombarded by the media for the first time in forever? I nervously nodded. "It'll be fine," Drew reassured me. I intwined my hand with his as I stared straight ahead. "What the hell are we still standing here for? Let's go!" Drew said.

And with that Drew dragged me straight out the door and into the sunshine.

Wait-is that the Mark?

A/N

Hello everybody, I was wondering if you all could pray for my sixth-month cousin. She has this lump under one of her boobs and our family is worrying about it. She'll be going to the doctor soon, and I'm hoping it turns out to be nothing. Please, please, PLEASE pray for her. Thank you all so much.
