RECAP; Jane is chatting with Aaron about his first day and decides he should meet her new friends. They head out to the garden and Zoe approaches them, embracing her cousin Aaron. Jane tries to keep it cool while other people are whispering around her but she drops a shouting bomb on them, stunning the whole audience. Eli then escorts her to Amy and the group where she finds out she's been nominated for Silver Ball Queen, but she didn't do it.
And that's what you missed on RIVERDALE!
"But I didn't do this,"
The words linger in the air for a while. The group stares at me, awaiting an explanation that I can't give."I mean, it's impossible. You can't nominate for someone else unless it was-" Kevin tries to cover, I connect the pieces. Mum
"I'll be back-" I turn on my heel abruptly, speed walking to the car park until an arm pulls me back forcibly.
"Wait for me!" Eli grins as I continue to walk right by. I'm practically on fire with anger, I feel my whole body heating up with excess energy. What the hell am I supposed to do now?
Eli is still tagging, my pace is practically identical to the likes of an Olympic runner. He's not giving up his attempt to keep up, I don't even bother to look at him. Everything is pissing me off and if I look at him who knows what I'll do.
"Oh, Janey-" he sing-songs,
"You like the poster?" the chuckled remark only makes me quicken my pace, yet he still persists, following me like a sheep.
I check my watch, I still have a little time, the teachers won't mind If I have to call my mum before class starts. I need to sort out whatever just happened before it's too late.
"Well, I thought it looked great. However the font was a little tacky-" he blabbers on, I'm about a millisecond to breaking into a sprint. Can this guy get a clue!?
"However, I'm not a very bright one when it comes to photoshop. Silly me!"
My pace slows to an abrupt stop. I turn to face him, my expression darkening as his grin only gets wider.
"What?" I snap, feet tapping impatiently on the floor. I check my watch, I still have a little time, the teachers won't mind If I have to call my mum before class starts.
"Y-you did this!?" I scream I feel eyes all on me as they wait to see what happens next. I really don't care what could happen at this moment, I need an explanation; but before that-
"How else would you enter? I'm doing you a favour." He smiles, crossing his arms casually. His expression is content and satisfied with his choice; You've got to be kidding me. With all the new things happening I don't need anything more to add.
What is he trying to do?
"I'm waiting." he smiles as he mimics my expressions, tapping his foot and sighing melodramatically. I could practically strangle him right now, but instead, I take a deep breath-
"For what exactly?" I force the words through the grit of my teeth, glancing at him from time to time. He chuckles and leans downward, "An apology, little miss jane." he boops my nose and steps back.
"Ap-apology!? Really!?" I jump up and attempt to pull his shoulders down, punching his chest in frustration. I try to shove him but I can feel his laughter, I take a deep breath and shove as hard as I can- and I fall over.
I look up to see Eli's wide grin as he waves, running away from me. That little twat, I stand up and begin to sprint; I couldn't care less about what's going on around me. I need to get him. I sprint.
