Chapter 2: I have it all
Eli's POV
The cars, the money, the luxury. I have it all.
Now you're probably wondering; 'This rich shit is an attention seeker, how could he 'hate' his life?' Well, idiots. Many ways if you take your head out of your ass and stop judging everyone.
All people see of me is; Rich, Handsome, womanizer, big p-(I'll leave the rest to the imagination) But as any other Homosapien, I have layers, like an onion.
After 16 years in the big city that is 'New York'. I felt that it really didn't call my name, I felt out of place. While everyone is hanging out and going underage clubbing, I stayed home, planting roses and writing essays. I knew I had to change something in my life, this wasn't me and I needed a release.
I decided to get away from the press and move to my parent's hometown in Australia. I am originally from Alaska, but I want to see the countryside so, they both decided to give me a check for 1 million dollars. But the catch was, unfortunately, I had to let my sister join me.
I packed my bags Designed a 10.4 million dollar home with my sister. And enrolled at my parent's old school, St Agatha's Academy. Fast forward 3 months, and here we are: On the doorstep of the most iconic place my parents
Walking up to The Academy's entrance with my sister, Ready for a fresh start. "You seem nervous." My sister Amy remarks, raising an eyebrow.
"Honestly, If anyone seemed nervous I'd think it is you," I reply calmly, eyeing the main doors, she's probably turning white as a ghost under all that makeup.
"You made sure the administration knows we're arriving today?" Amy tucks a loose strand of her light brown hair behind her ear, an obvious sign of apprehension on her part.
"Obviously, you gotta remember who the dumb twin is." I provoke jokingly, smirking playfully.
"Who's the annoying twin?" She challenges, smiling sarcastically. She should know not to challenge me: Sibling rivalry was just one of the many things on my expertise list.
"Still you," I smirk, eyeing her hand, she already knows what I'm about to do...
Ever since we were kids we have had a 'twin thing', over the ages we've accumulated fun ways to annoy people; Making up a secret language, our secret handshakes, even cutting Amy's hair off and dressing her up as me so she could take my tests, clearly we can't do some of these now.
"These uniforms will be the death of me, you know," Amy complains, fixing her uniform blouse collar. The Marroon-coloured, fitted blouse is tucked into a mid-thigh length, pleated black skirt. Added with her signature kitten white heels.
"Yeah, well mom and dad said if you want to come with me you'll have to do everything with a big smile on your annoying face." I tease, pinching her cheeks and mimicking an annoying aunt.
Amy swats my hands away when we hear a cough. We look up to see.. nothing. Another cough, looking down finally to see a prude, witch lady; Grimacing at us. "Welcome to Saint Agatha's Academy. You two must be the Hughes twins." she claps her pale hands together, smiling sweetly.
"Thank you, ma'am, for that kind welcoming." I smile strikingly. Amy follows with: "We really appreciate that you accepted our applications on such short notice." she then matches my smile. The woman's grin is wider and brighter now.
"Your mother and father taught you two well, I would never turn down Harrod and Melinda Hughes' children!" She turns around and ushers us both into the main doors, I glance at Amy who's looking quite uncomfortable.
