<Side's POV>

Sunlight streamed into the room in golden shafts of light, partially blinding me and scaring me awake at the same time.

I sigh, pulling the covers that trapped my legs in a warm embrace.

How did I get here? The last thing I remember from last night was finishing dinner and...saying thank you?

I climb out of the bed, looking around in confusion.

This isn't my room.

It took about a full minute before I got my bearings.

I was at Speedy's house for the week.

I walk to the bathroom and used the toilet. While I was washing my hands, I looked at my reflection.

I look...okay, I guess? I stare at the light grey under my eyes, the paleness of my skin.

I don't look that bad.

Then I sneezed really hard. I sniffed in an attempt to breathe.

Okay, maybe I'm not okay. There was a flu that was going around back home.

But that was two weeks ago. Why was it delayed? And why is it happening while I'm hanging out with friends?

I mumble something about luck and check my phone.

It was 8.45 am and I haven't changed out of my clothes from the night before.

And the only person that would've brought me to bed was Speedy.

I'll have to make sure to thank him later.

Staring at the battery, my phone was at 45% battery. I walk out of the bathroom and start unpacking my luggage.

I see my shoes thrown to the side of the room, and my socks still on my feet.

Well, I guess Speedy didn't want my shoes to dirty his bedsheets.

I grab out my charger and plug it into the socket in the wall. My phone buzzed, alerting me that it was charging.

I grab a spare set of clothing and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

The shower cleared my head and made me feel refreshed and ready for the day.

As I left the bedroom, my phone buzzed with a reminder.

I unlocked my phone and checked it.

'Meet up with Dad' and it was set in an hour.

As I recalled, my dad wanted to meet up with me and pass me something and then go for lunch.

"Babe! I have to go now!" Someone yelled from directly outside my door.

"Okay. See you later!" A more monotonous voice replied.

It seems Sammi has to go somewhere.

As I was putting on another pair of socks, someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." I say, tugging my sock up to my ankles.

"It's Sammi. Morning, I have to go film some stuff. So if you need anything, just ask Lucas. Okay?" She said kindly.

"Sure okay. See you then." I look up from the floor and smiled at her.

She was wearing a workout outfit under a black leather jacket.

"Wow. You look great." I spoke without thinking.

"Thanks." She smiled before shutting the door.
