<Side's POV>

I watch as Speedy chased G, annoyed that he asked about our intimate night.

I guess it was taboo topic to talk about in the Werewolf world?

I watched them run, intrigued by Speedy's determination to catch G18.

His scent wasn't even playful.

G18 was taking it lightly though, running laps around the yard leisurely, while Speedy was at his heels snapping his jaws if G18 slowed down.

G18 had dropped his book in a rush, and it so happened to have fell open on the page where a variety of gems of different shapes and colours were displayed.

I scanned the page as I hear Speedy tackle G18.

I look up just in time to see Speedy bare his fangs at G18.

«Don't you mention it ever again..» Speedy growled lowly.

G18 mewed a reply and Speedy released him.

I returned to the book, reading the description of a particular red gem.

It was a Peruvian Royal Warrior Ruby.

It boasted of boosted strength and extra agility, as well as stealth that beats the likes of a ninja.

It seemed to fit G18's description quite well, but he didn't seem to have a gem anywhere.

I continued to read on.

Speedy returned to my side, lightly panting.

«So what did you find?» He rumbled, rubbing my neck with his muzzle.

«G's possible gemstone?» I gesture to the red gem.

«He's Peruvian and a royal» I explain.

«And he certainly handles his battles like a warrior...» Speedy read on.

G crept closer, a bit more wary of Speedy, but he was totally fine sitting next to me.

So I was the barrier. Speedy can't reach G and G can't reach Speedy.

All's good.

I was in charge of flipping the book, so I made sure that everyone read at my pace.

After turning a couple pages, we came across the Bloodstone and the Moonstone.

Both stones were to forever be opposites. One stone was the path of destruction and pain and the other was the path of blessing and health.

Guess which one's on my forehead?

The Moonstone of course.

There was a little folktale that was written along with the description of the Moonstone.

And there was a comic to go along with it as well.

The tale foretold of a woman who loved the moon so much that the moon goddess gave her a mini moon to look after.

The mini moon also had healing abilities and strange powers that people never figured out.

The woman's husband was jealous of her gift and demanded that he got a gift from the moon goddess too.

The moon goddess disliked his attitude and gave him a bloodstone.

But the man was not satisfied.

He wanted the Moonstone.

So the woman ran away with the stone.

The woman hid with the wolves for a few years, until the man found her again.
