<Side's POV>I was out of Speedy's house. Alone.
I was cowering in the darkness, hoping that Hunters, or whatever poison that was in me, won't hurt me while I'm out here.
Phoenix and Kota watched me complete my transformation before pushing me out the window.
I could feel the adrenaline pumping in my veins, overriding the pain and soreness of my new muscles and appendages.
I trembled as I felt the chillness of the night settle in my bones.
I stumbled upon a hidden rock, scared myself twice with a moving car's shadow, and broke someone's sprinkler system while crossing their backyard.
Now I'm a well-spooked, absolutely soaked to the bone and miserable Sidearms.
I found a rather large tree in the more forested area of Los Angeles and settled down underneath it.
Gazing at the the night sky, I slowly began to see the different patterns the stars made up.
There was the Aquarius one, the Water Bearer, offering water from the heavens. Although, I'm wet enough.
There was Cepheus, the King. Bowing in the sky, as if he was greeting me.
Looking further north, I managed to spot Ursa Minor, the Little Bear, honestly though, I can't really see the bear in this set of stars.
It always looked to me like a small spoon, alongside Ursa Major, also known as the Big Dipper. Considering bears don't have long tails...
Anyway, Ursa Minor rang out in my head. Almost has if it had some kind of significance to me.
I'm a wolf, not a bear. So it doesn't apply to me in terms of species.
I can't think of any other significa-shit!
While I was wondering around looking at stars...I had stepped on a fucking hidden bear-trap.
That was the significance. Bear. Bear trap.
The jaws of the metal trap clamped onto my left paw, rendering me immobile.
Adrenaline gone, my entire body screamed in exhaustion, my trapped paw begging for release.
But when I tried to pry open the trap, I realise why bears fall prey to such contraptions.
Besides having a spring lock which triggers the jaws to close, every time I struggle, the springs compress even more, almost to the point of breaking my bones.
I lay there, tired and unable to move my paw. My tail thumped behind me, signalling my frustration.
I list my situation:
1.These steels traps are fucking illegal.
2.I'm in said trap.
3.I'm in so much pain. And while I don't think I'm too far from civilisation, I'm not too sure if the Hunters will get to me first, or will Speedy, Sammi or G18.
For once, I am truly terrified, lost and alone.
I whimpered, a high pitch, and loud, hoping someone...or maybe something can find me...

<Speedy's POV>
It's almost 2.00am, and G18 hasn't even arrived yet.
He was furious to hear that Side somehow managed to get out of the house during the most dangerous night of the year.
