Y/n looked at Tracer with a genuine smile on her face . It had been years since Y/n showed a real smile that reached her eyes , and Tracer did that without even knowing . "So , you going to arrest me?" Y/n asks out of the blue . Winston chuckles loudly and shakes his head . "No . How about we give you a second chance and join Overwatch?" Winston offers .
Y/n hesitated for a second before answering . The raven haired girl knew that this would show weakness but if she played her cards right , it might just help her in her favor . "Gladly." Y/n smiles . "Great , a dropship will come and pick us up in a few." Winston informs . "Whats your name , love?" Tracer asked . "Already at that stage are we ? My name is Y/n Y/l/n , code name Scorpion." Y/n introduced herself . "Why Scorpion?" Winston asks . "I didn't come up with the name , the people did but once I heard it , I picked it up as my code name." Y/n explains . "So why do they call you that?" Winston askd again . "My pistols act as the claws on a Scorpion , the dagger his fangs and finally my scythe as the stinger at the back . My main killer weapon." Y/n smiles . "Thats really cool!" Tracer exclaims .
Y/n nods and sat down at the edge of the building . Tracer observed her from behind and found herself staring at the girl . Something about the assassin made Tracer feel safe and her heart pound in her chest . Maybe it was how her eyes shined in the moonlight or how her smile made her weak in the knees . "What are you doing Tracer?" Winston called mockingly .
Tracer looked away and blushed furiously . "Its just , she looks so used to be lonely and I want to be there to keep her company." Tracer covers up . "From what I am seeing , she could be one of our greatest heroes in Overwatch after we recall all of them back." Winston says . "But I think you don't worry about her company . Instead you look at her like she is the most beautiful jewel in the universe." Winston continues .
"But its true ! She looks so damn beautiful and yet she can bring down Reaper and Widowmaker." Tracer gushes over her . Winston smiles at his friend . All of a sudden , a bright light and loud engines landed beside them . "Y/N , LETS GO , LOVE!" Tracer called . Y/n turned around and walked up to Tracer and suddenly picked her up and carried her into the ship .
"Y/N ! PUT ME DOWN!" Tracer screamed . "Nah , your my prey now." Y/n says . "WE'RE ALL SOLDIERS NOW!" Tracer and Y/n shouted . Y/n puts Tracer down and sat at one of the seats . Tracer sat beside her and felt herself falling asleep . "Hey , its okay . I know its going to take awhile so go ahead." Y/n rasped . Tracer looked her and Y/n just smiled and nodded . Tracer laid her head on the black-eyed girls shoulder and closed her eyes .
*1 hour later*
"Hey , Tracer . We're here." Y/n shook Tracer awake . Tracer rubbed her eyes and saw they arrived at the Overwatch base . "Well then , come on love . You don't want to be late for your showcase." Tracer smiles . "Showcase?" Y/n asks curiously as she wasn't informed about doing anything .
"Well we have to show Soldier 76 and the rest if us if you worthy to join us." Tracer explains . "Was me saving you not enough?" Y/n asks playfully . "NO ! No , it was . Its just that we want to see what else you are capable off." Tracer blushed deeply . "I'm just joking . Ofcourse they want to see me what I can do . You won't want a chicken on the field wouldn't you?" Y/n says .
Even if you were bad at fighting , which you aren't , I would still keep you on the team Tracer thought .
"Hey Tracer ! You coming?" Y/n calls the Brit . She shakes off her thoughts and catches up with Y/n . "Okay Y/n we have to go to the training room . Thats where Soldier is." Winston informs . "So , I have absolutely no idea where anything is , mind to show me?" Y/n asks sassily . "I'm joking . Lets go." Y/n says leading the way . Suprisingly , she led them the right way and ended up where they needed to be .
