"Are you saying she's..." Said my mom in distress, "She'll have a hard time while she grows up.." Dr.John replied.

"Dale, you're her big brother, you'll have to guide her through." He added as Dale nodded. I didn't know where I was anymore, I glanced to my left and saw this rainbow colored girl standing in the doorway, waving.

"D-daddy?" I said pointing to the doorway, "What is it Lana?" He asked patting my head. "Who's the lady?" I kept pointing as she walked to me, "My name is Alice!" She said with a very distorted voice.

"And so it begins.." said Dr.John, as he spoke, Alice screeched and vanished in blue flames, I screamed and hid my head under the blanket. "If you give her these pills, it'll block it out for 8 hours, which means school." He said as Dale hugged me.

"Sis, don't you worry, I am gonna be the best big brother ever!" He said as I slowly passed out, not knowing what they were saying after.

Ten years later

Lana's POV

I woke up to get ready to see Dr.John again, it'a been like what, ten years?

Anyways, as usual, I shower, get dressed, eat, etc and then Alice came by! "Lanaaaaaaa, don't leave!" She said as I rolled my eyes, ignoring her.

"You don't know what he's gonna do.." she said making me stop walking towards my mom's car, she had vanished and I began to get paranoid.

"Lana, come inside!" Shouted my mom as I ran inside looking behind me, "Drive, drive, drive." I kept saying that word the whole ride until we finally got to the doctors office.

"Ah, the Holden's!" He smiled with delight. "So, how are you doing kiddo?" He asked me as I bit my lip, looking around.

"Oy, Lan Lan." Said my brother Dale as I shook my head, "Someone's watching me.." I whispered as Dr.John'a smile turned to a frown.

"She's worse.." he said as Dale patted my head chuckling, "Nah, she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed!" He gave a dorkish smile.

I covered my eyes as my mom sighed, telling me to wait outside where I can be calm. I walk out but I stay near the office to hear the conversation.

"And how is she in school?" Dr.John asked. "The teachers love her, but it's the other kids around her, the society that surrounds her!" My mom replied slamming his desk.

"Ms.Holden, Remain calm." He said with a strict voice, "My sister is a grenade for the time being, I know for sure, she's bound to explode someday." Dale added making my mom burst into tears.

"Dale, zip your mouth or else your mom is gonna have a heart attack." Dr.John ordered.

"Ms.Holden, Lana will be fine, does she have any friends?" He asked as my mom replied with a whimper.

"She's got Eli, Sally and Toby..and me, Of course." Dale said, "Then if you four guide her through this, she'll end up fine."

As I heard Dr.John finish, I screamed falling onto the floor, I could hear their footsteps run to me mixed with some distorted whispers.

"No, no, no, no, get away!" I yelled as my brother kneeled next to me, patting my head softly.

"Shh, Lana, Lana, listen to my voice.." he said as I slowly began to lose those whispers.

"You are here, you are calm...Repeat what I said." He added, "I am here..And I am calm.." I whispered over and over again until I finally calmed down.

"Liz, just..give her these other pills and she'll be fine for 24 hours.." Dr.John stated as Dale pulled me up to my feet.

"Don't trust them Lana, don't do it.." I heard Alice's voice echo, "Don't do it!" I heard it louder, "DON'T DO IT!" I heard her screech as I trembled and walked out the door to my moms car.

I see my mom and Dale run after me to the car, the ride back home was quiet, all that was heard was the radio and the birds chirping their lovely song.

As soon as I got out the car, Eli was sitting on the bench waiting for us, "H-hey!" Eli is my coolest pal, but he stutters a lot..I wonder why.

"What's up in the Land of Lan?" He asked as I giggled, My mom walked inside as Dale winked at Eli, causing him to get flustered.

"Uh...Um.." Eli fiddled with his thumbs as I tilted my head, "Whatcha gonna say?" I asked as he sighed.

"Lan, I..I uh...Um..." he muttered out as I giggled at him, "Eli, just think about what you're going to say!" I replied to his stutter. He glanced at me, took a deep breathe and gave me a tight hug.

"Whoa, whoa, what's this?" I asked as pulled away, "Lana, you're not homophobic, correct?" He asked me as my eyes widened.

"You're g-" He covered my mouth as his face turned to a crimson red, "Don't tell Dale, Toby and Sally know but..I'm gay for your brother." He whispered as I hugged him tight squealing.

"I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!" I shouted as I spun him around still hugging, "H-hey put me down, Lan Lan!" He chuckled out as I put him down.

"And how are you so far?" He tilted his head as I shrugged, I always felt this knot in my stomach around Eli, sometimes I'd puke in school or I just freeze for no reason. He then gave me a sheepish smile, "I guess you're still the same Lana." He added.

That sentence made me smile that I forgot why I was so paranoid, after 15 seconds of silence I ended up binning Eli's neck, I don't even remember what happened or how I even thought of it in the first place!

"Lana, Lana, Lana, you know I'm ticklish there!" He got even more flustered. I stopped then Dale came by to pull me back inside the house, I waved goodbye to Eli as he walked off putting his hoodie on.

"Lana, WHAT.THE.FUCK." Dale shouted as I held my head confused, "What did I just do?!" I asked as he rolled his eyes, "Lana, just take the medication.." He shoved the medication towards me with such brute force.

"Somebody's gonna be in trouble..~" I heard an unknown voice, it wasn't Alice, that's for sure.
