Chapter 77

A couple of days had passed and during these days, I had convinced Niall to go back to school and get his final grades. He didn’t want to at first because Ethan would be his teacher but after lots of “buts”, he agreed to go back to school if I started dancing again. I found Keli’s old agency and they were willing to let me work with them if I only sent over some try out videos and stuff like that.

I was sitting in the couch in our livingroom with the laptop in my knee. The doorbell rang when I was writing down my experiences and I put the laptop on the coffee table and went over to the door and opened, it was Keli.

Stella: Hey babe.

Keli: I told Liam.

She sobbed and I immediately wrapped my arms around her. She started crying more and we walked inside the flat and sat down in the couch. I wiped my finger under her eye and she looked at me,

Keli: He didn’t even say anything, he just left!

Stella: Have you called him?

Keli: Only 17 times. What if he’s out filing a divorce?!

Stella: I don’t think he would do that, K.

Keli: No because you know my husband better than I do!

Stella: That’s not what I’m saying.. how long has he been gone?

Keli: since last night.

Stella: And you didn’t come here until now?!

Keli: I thought he would come back!

I nodded and took my phone up and dialed Liam’s number, he didn’t answer of course.

Stella: There’s a couple of places he could have gone to, do you want to-

Keli: I look like the grudge, I don’t want to go anywhere.

Stella: Do you want me to?

Keli: Would you?

Stella: Of course I would. You’ll wait here?

She nodded and I leaned over to her and kissed her on the forehead.

Stella: it’ll be okay!

She started sobbing again and I got out of the couch and went into the bedroom and changed into a pair of jeans shorts and a white t-shirt. I left Keli in the couch and went on a scavenger hunt for Liam.

Niall’s POV.

Fucking Ethan. I’ve never liked him and he certainly doesn’t like me, but now I have to spend every day, 6 hours a day with him, HIM out of all people!

But I could survive it, for Stella.

Thankfully, we got off earlier today and before I headed back to the flat to surprise Stella, I took a coffee from Bernies, a coffee shop not far from the bus stop.

When I eventually got home, I unlocked the door and called after Stella. No answer, maybe she was napping.

I went into the bedroom and saw that it was empty, the whole flat was empty and there was only one place left where she could be, on the roof. I went up and opened the door. I didn’t see Stella, but I saw some other girl standing by the edge of the roof, looking down.

Niall: You won’t even break your neck.

I said and she turned around and that’s when I realized that it was Keli.

Keli: hu?

Niall: If you jump… you won’t die.

Keli: I wasn’t thinking about jumping, I’m not suicidal.
