"Bye Lea," I whispered as we hugged for the last time before I boarded my train to London.

"Bye sweetie. I'll see you in six months," she winked as she patted my back.

I was leaving for London. Kingston University, here I come. Lea, on the otherhand, was joining London University but in the next semester. She decided to spend the months before her departure in Nottingham, with her family, instead of being in London with me. All was well. We promised that time would move so fast that before I realized it, we would once again be reunited. This time, in London.

"Heyy, stop thinking already Erny. I'll see you very soon. And plus maybe this is the silver lining. No more Tom, a brand new start. I think it'll do you good," she smiled encouragingly.

"I'm alright. Just going to miss you that's all," I smiled back as I prepared to load my two luggages and backpack into the train.

"Call me once you reach your aunt's," she waved off farewell as I boarded the train.

I nodded and waved goodbye as the train started moving forward.

"This is a good day for love to die," I muttered under my breath as I looked out of the window.

All my memories in Manchester with Tom seemed to fade off like a blur as the train kept moving. It was as if the universe knew it was time for me to start another chapter.

I'm going to miss Tom. His adoring eyes. His voice. Him being silly and funny. I will miss him but I'll be alright.

Hours and loads of junkfood later, the train slowed down to a stop.

London.

London was always the ultimate aim. Even Tom knew it. It was his dream too. Oh, maybe he'll make it work someday. In some weird way, despite having the same goals, we seemed like we were always holding each other back. Well, not this time.

"Erny darling! Over here!" The familiar voice called out.

"Aunt Rhi! Oh my god, so nice to see you!" I stumbled with my luggages and hugged her.

"Can't believe someone is finally staying with me," she excitedly giggled as she helped me out with my luggages.

Aunt Rhi's mum's younger sister. She's 38, very successful in the fashion designing she does. But she's unmarried and stays in her apartment alone. Mum used to say that we could emulate all the good things from Aunt Rhi, except her love life.

Before I knew it, we were in the taxi, zooming past buildings after buildings. Welcome to London, I guess. In the next minute, we were already pulling the luggages out of the taxi. We were at the main door of the apartment building when a tall guy bumped into me, making me trip but not fall.

"I'm so sorry!" He gasped.

"Hiya Seev! Thank god for you, think you could help my dear niece with her luggaes? I've got to run back to the office," Aunt Rhi sashayed in behind me.

"Sure thing Rhi. Least I can do for bumping into her," this guy, apparently who's name is Siva, replied.

"Good. Love, I'll be home in a jiffy and we'll go out for dinner," Aunt Rhi kissed my cheek, passed me her key and headed out.

I was just standing there, my mouth agape. I was pretty sure I looked hideous as I stared up at this very magnificent looking guy.

"Hey beauty, time to go up! C'mon," his husky voice broke my trance.
