Caroline's Possessive Mate!

Chapter 7

I woke up with a huge smile on my face for once in my life. Why was I happy you may ask? Well for starters today is Friday, the best day of the week, Secondly tonight is the bonfire, the best party you could ever go to, and thirdly I get to see Leo today. I know I shouldn't be this excited to see Leo but I think tonight me and him can just test things out and really see how this whole mate business is going to work out. I raised up out of bed and hopped into the bathroom. I did my usual morning ritual, the shower, dryer, makeup, and clothes. I decided to go with just a normal outfit since tonight I would be dressing pretty hott. I went with some black skinny jeans and a cute white loose shirt. I stuck with some flats and just simply stuck a black headband in my hair.

"Caroline you ready to go?" I heard Caden call up the stairs. I grabbed my clutch and headed down the stairs, I stopped in the kitchen to grab a apple, and was out the door. Caden drove me to school and we sat and talked about the bonfire, he was just as excited as I was. This is a thing that everyone looks forward to. I mean what teenager wouldn't be excited for a party with free alcohol, food, and music? During the bonfire the parents leave the house, so it's just crazy.

We pulled into the school parking lot and I smiled when I saw a certain Leo waiting for me at the door. I jumped out of the car when Caden parked and I walked up to Leo with a shy smile. When he saw me he grinned back at me and walked up to me.

"Well, how's my cute little mate?" He reached for my hand and for once I didn't move away, I simply let Leo hold my hand and lead me into the school.

"I'm pretty excited, I mean everybody going to be pumped for the bonfire tonight." You could hear the excitement in my voice and Leo chuckled.

"Yeah I'm pretty excited for it to, I haven't really had a chance to party since I've been here. I guess I've been a little busy with a certain mate." He gave me a cute smirk and my heart started to pound really quickly. Last night I sat in my bed and thought for a long time about how I wanted to play this mate thing out. I decided to give Leo a chance, he seems like a great guy, except for his possessiveness. Leo seemed pretty happy to see that I wasn't giving him a hard time today, and I was glad to see him happy. 

We walked to my locker and everybody in the hallway stopped to stare at what they thought was a new couple. But in all honestly I wasn't Leo's girlfriend or anything, he hasn't asked me to be anything, and I'm not for sure what I would say if he did ask me. I grabbed my books from my locker and we walked together to our first period. We sat in the back together and just talked while we waited for everyone else to come.

"So little mate what are you going to wear to this bonfire tonight?" He asked with a sneaky grin.

"Well wouldn't you like to know." I returned his grin and laughed, cause I knew the dress I was going to wear tonight would absolutely drive him crazy.

"Yeah I actually would like to know, are you going to wear something tonight that's going to make me go insane, and then not let me touch you? Cause if so, I just don't think I could handle it." I smirked.

"Well I guess I can allow you to touch me, a little bit." He groaned in frustration but turned his attention to class when the teacher came in. I actually listened in class, taking notes, and really tried. When the bell rang, I jumped and was surprised that class went by so fast. Leo walked me to all my classes for the rest of the day and we sat together at the pack table during lunch. Today slid by without any problems, and it was just really nice.

The final bell rang and Leo walked me outside but when I went to get in Caden's car he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me to stop. He turned me around to face him and gently pushed his lips against mine. I realize that this kiss was pretty much affront of the whole school and it was just too much PDA, but when his lips met mine I just couldn't stop myself. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer, and moaned in delight when his tongue plunged into my mouth. We stood there making out for awhile till I pulled away. When I looked around, I was glad to see that most people had got in their cars and left.
