Caroline's Possessive Mate!

Walking down the hallway of my high school, my blonde curly hair bounced with each step I took, I sway my hips side to side with purpose, knowing if I turned around guys would be staring with hungry eyes. It isn't that I am conceited, I just know how boys react to me, especially after my change into a werewolf. Before the change no one every seemed to notice me. I was quite literally a no one, spending my time hidden within the library. I avoided any and all attention, and truthfully I did not have many friends, I was known as the geek of the school. 

The day after I changed everything turned for my benefit. It seemed that everyone wanted to be my friends, every guy wanted to be with my, and I was constantly the center of attention. This year I was a junior and freshly turned 18, right around the corner was senior year. I was beyond excited for senior year, being top of the food chain, no work, no worries, just a fun time. This year I was on the cheer leading team and the dance team, which to me seemed to be one in the same. I was constantly joining things that would keep my body in shape and keep with me with my new found friends. 

"Caroline wait up a minute!" I turned to see who had yelled my name and of course there he was,  my annoying ass of a ex-boyfriend, Cody.

"What do you want Cody? I told you we are done. Move on, find some other idiot to fall for your crap." He tried to turn on that charm that at one time actually worked on me, that is embarrassing to admit now. You see Cody is a senior, captain of the football team and all that fun stuff but one thing most people don't know about him is he is an absolute ass. He's one of those guys that has a pretty face and knows it. He flirted with other girls affront of me, he would make remarks to me if I even touched chocolate or basically any food in front of him, and most of all i caught him cheating on me in the bathroom during lunch one day. So to say the least we were beyond over. 

"Awee come on Caroline! How many times do I have to say I'm sorry? It was a mistake I see that now, please forgive me! I need you back in my life baby." I wasn't falling for this, I know better, and I am not going to be the girl that falls for this again. Everyone already called me the dumb blonde. That was another thing I was getting very tired of. Just because I was blonde did not mean I was dumb. I actually liked my blonde curly hair that I got from my mother, and if anyone had a problem with it, well they could just suck it!

"Cody I don't care about you, leave me alone. I will never ever ever date you again or ever forgive you. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO TALK TO ME AGAIN OK?" He just nodded walking off before we caused a scene. I continued to walk down the hallway trying to find my locker. You can always tell where my locker is because there is always a crowd of people surrounding it. I mean if you are on the cheer-leading team at my school you have tons of friends. Ohh and one other reason that I'm pretty popular is because of my twin brother, he is the star of the football team. Yeahh you heard me right my twin! His name is Caden. His hair is brown like my dad and to be honest he almost looks exactly like my dad. Most girls tried to be my friend just to simply get into his pants. Yeah I know, it is pitiful. But what was even more pitiful was he did everything with two legs. He basically took advantage of his place in the pack and in high school, and he left most girls hurt and heartbroken.

"Hey girl, where ya been?' My best friend called out at me when I had finally reached my locker. Her name is Maddy short for Madilne. She has pretty brown straight hair and big bright brown eyes. Me and Maddy have been friends since like day 1 of life. She is part of my same pack,  and my mom has always been bestfriends with her mother, so therefore we have always been together, joined at the hip.

"Ohh my day was going fine before Cody had to come and ruin it." She nodded knowing exactly what I was talking about.

"Well I've got some news that will cheer you right up!" I laughed cause you always knew when she was really excited to tell something by how high her voice goes.

"Ok what is it Maddy?" I really could use some good news right now.

"There is a new boy and let me tell you this he is HOTT. I mean hotter than the sun and there is something even better about him than that." She had caught my interest already so I just couldn't imagine what else she knew.

"What is it?" I asked I started to sound like one of those annoying teenage girls who gets all excited over a cut out of Justin Bieber. I mean really in this town we never get new people, and for it to be a guy, and possibly a really hott guy at that, well that's just to much to handle.

"He is a Werewolf and he is joining our pack." That should have made me happy! But most of the guys in the wolf pack turn out to be assholes. Most of them simply sleep with every girl they can they can get into bed.  Yeah I know I shouldn't be thinking these things since I haven't even met him yet, but I just have personal issues now. Cody kinda just broke me, I act like I am fine with the situation, but on the inside I'm just breaking. He broke my trust, and I might have problem's trusting guys for a long time. I sat there and just thought for a while, when all the sudden the biggest question of all popped in my head...What if he found his mate already?

I walked down the hallway with Maddy at my side, she always knew when I was in deep thought, so she just left me alone. We turned the corner when I slapped right into a very hard chest, I raised my face to see who I had ran into. I slowly took my eyes up his chest, he was extremely fit, but when my eyes reach his face nothing else mattered. I was completely frozen by what I saw....
